messed up day

[Tawni Lancaster]

It was an early hour of the night.For some reason, Tawni decided to just lie down on the soft cozy grass. Her day felt so heavy, She missed the feeling of being relaxed after a very long time of getting no rest at all. Then the time came. Finally a break! She looked up in the sky and watched the night sky. The stars seemed so relaxing. There were perfect light contours of really light clouds.The waters on the lakefront seemed so calm. She got the time to think about the past few months. Her thoughts were filled with many things. She remembered her past mistakes that she knew she can't fix alreaready then gave it a deep sigh. Then she thought about school which made her smile a little but still it was something that gave her stress.Then she thought about her distant-ish cousin that seemed so troubled during the last time that she saw him. She wonders how he is now. She had not seen him for months already. After all those thinking, her mind floated away until such time that it felt so blank.She did not notice that she suddenly dozed off.

 

[Shaylah Rouge]

Shaylah walked down towards her normal spot by the lake. She was in a better mood than normal at the moment. Nothing had been happening in her life. She now had her sister with her and she was soon going to be back with her mum again. She couldn't wait to get away from the school and have a break from homework. All she wanted to do was sit down and try to think through everything but every time she tried she ended up thinking about an essay that she could have put more effort into or a part of the lesson that she didn't understand one bit of.
Shay frowned when she saw someone sat in her spot. She recognised the girl from the common room and guessed that she must be slytherin. Shay's good mood made her give the girl a chance to prove herself. She sat next to her and noticed that she was probably only first year. "Hey." Socialising wasn't exactly something she was great at so she didn't know what to say.
