<SIZE size="50">Merrill couldn't believe the day had finally come. It had been a summer of tension, and silence between her, and Rhys. Her older brother had not taken the news well when he learned that she wouldn't be attending school with him, and her parents refused to take sides. Rhys had even accused her of not really being a part of their family, and in a small part of heart heart Merrill almost agreed with him. She hated camping, and hiking, and combat practise. All she wanted was to make friends, and play, and go to school like all the other little girls. Now was finally her chance. She had taken the train their with Solomon, and stood beside him now. They had gotten off to a rocky start, but Merrill was happy to at least know someone. As the, rather pretty, head mistress introduced the sorting hat Merrill found herself reaching to grab Solomon's arm. She almost felt dizzy with excitement. The sorting hat sang its song, and finally it was time to call the new students up one by one. Merrill waited on baited breath for her name to be called. This was it. This hat would determine her fate for the next 7 years.

"Piper, Merrill!"

Merrill let out a long nervous sigh, and marched her way up to the stool. She balled, up her fists, and kept her eyes down. If she didn't look at the crowd they weren't their. She only looked up after the hat had been placed on her head, and sank down below her eyes. Well, what's it going to be?

IN REVIEW Merrill started the year off by being sorted into the house she had always hoped for, Gryffindor. it was the house both her mother, and father had been in, and probably would have been her old brother's house too. her first night Merrill was very eager to meet her new roommates, and make the friends she always dreamed of. things seem to go well that first night, but Merrill soon learned that making friends wasn't as easy as she always pictured. after a few failed attempts Merrill decided that sticking to Solomon was the best for now. after a while she even gave up on classes.

IN REVIEW Merrill's first semester started much like how her first year had ended. once again she stuck to Solomon, and skipped class. when she went home for Christmas break her parents gave her an ultimatum. either do better in school, or they would pull her out, and home school her. Merrill was horrified of the idea of having to go back to how her life was before school, and so she started the new semester with renewed vigor. At the start of her second semester Merrill decided to cool off by taking a dip in the lake surrounding the school. While there she met a new friend, Anthony Jackson. The two had a diving competition judged by Solomon. Merrill also made friends with two of her housemates Marisol, and Evelyn. With her parents warning in mind Merrill managed to pull off getting all O's in her second semester.

Merrill started off her summer break by meeting, and hitting it off with a boy in her grade, Lucas Woodlock. The two began dating right away, and shared Merrill's first kiss. After trying to make friends with her roommate Evelyn the two hit a snag when Evelyn became jealous of Merrill, and Lucas dating. This was also the year when Merrill finally tried out for her house quidditch team, and managed to secure the roll of keeper. They won their first match against Slytherin, but lost their second against Hufflepuff. As the year went on Merrill began spending more time with Lucas including attending the Halloween feast with him, Anthony, and Solomon. More trouble with Evelyn happened soon after, and the two ceased to be friends. Merrill decided to spend more time with Marisol, but her guilt about her parents careers ate away at her. Merrill, and Lucas wishing to have a date that wasn't interrupted skipped the yule ball, and spent the night hanging out just the two of them.

Merrill started the year off on a downswing by breaking up with her boyfriend of a year, Lucas. As the year had gone on the two had grown up, and apart. The stress Evelyn put on their relationship was just too much for her. Right after the break up she went back to her dorms, and had a fight with Evelyn about Lucas. The two generally avoided, and ignored each other for the remainder of the year. However soon after Merrill made the leap of telling her best friend Solomon the truth about her parents. It felt very freeing, and she was repaid by Solomon revealing to her that he was a metamorphmagus.

PATRONUS MEMORY one time they were in a town for a few weeks. Merrill got to know a local girl, and she invited her to her birthday party. for one night she felt like a normal little girl.

MIRROR OF ERISED Merrill wants her family to move someplace, and stay there. she wants to go to school, and make friends, and never have to go hiking again.
DEMENTOR Merrill's worst memory was the first time her parents used her, and her brother to bait a werewolf. they were brought out into a forest in the middle of the night, and told to run for a certain tree when they heard the howling close enough. fear pierced Merrill's heart when she heard the howling, and she has never forgotten it even if she has done the same things many times since. after the first night she spent the rest of the week crying.

Nora was born, and raised in Flint, Wales with 4 other brothers, and sisters. She was the second oldest, and the oldest girl. She spent a lot of her time as a child taking care of her younger siblings while she parents went to work. When she was accepted into Hogwarts she was extremely excited to begin her education. Her favourite hobby was reading so she was sure that she would be sorted into Ravenclaw. However the hat surprised her by putting her in Gryffindor. During her school years Nora learned she had a natural talent for potions. After graduation she began working at St. Mungo's for a time. This is where she met Alexander. He was a patient there, and managed to charm his nurse into a date.

Alexander was born, and raised in Appleby, England. He was the youngest of three, and grew up with older siblings who loved to torment him for being the baby. He learned to defend himself from pranks at an early age, and was actually relieved when his older siblings went to Hogwarts. When it was his turn he was sorted into Gryffndor like the rest of his family. He wanted to make himself stand out from his trouble making older siblings, and threw himself into his studies. In his 5th year he was made prefect. After graduation he took odd jobs here, and there, and considered becoming an auror. However one day he got into a bar fight, and was sent to St. Mungos. There he met the most beautiful woman he had ever met. He decided to give up on being an auror, and peruse her. His bet paid off, and a year later they were engaged.

BROTHER

Rhys Alexander Piper - 18, Ilvermorny Student, Mixed Blood, Werewolf Hunter In-Training
Rhys was born 2028 to Nora, and Alexander. He was their first child, and they adored him. The small family lived in a modest house in Holyhead Wales. Two years after Rhys was born, his younger sister Merrill came along. He doesn't remember much of this time, but one of his first memories is getting upset at the baby crying, and pinching her cheek. Making her cry more. When Rhys was six years old the little girl from down the road, and her family were killed by a young werewolf who had no access to wolfsbane potion. This caused a kind of snap in his parents, and six months later the family was packing what little they could, and leaving behind the rest. This began the families life as werewolf hunters. Rhys saw how hard it was on his younger sister, and thought that if he went along with everything it would make it okay for her. Rhys has taken to their life much easier then his sister, and can't wait to graduate so he can join his parents on hunts. He is feeling betrayed by the fact that Merrill has decided to go to a different school then him. He thinks she is acting ungrateful.
