If you raise your hand, even if it's for a high-five, he'll cower and move away from you. In conclusion, Marc is a gentle soul that needs love and attention.

Relationship: Marc's father puts a lot of pressure on the poor boy because Marc needs to become the next representative of the church. Marc has a lot to live up to since his father is a famous spokesperson and figurehead, which also makes everybody have high expectations for him as well. Marc does a lot to try and impress his father, hoping that he would get rewarded instead of being punished. But it almost never happens. His father uses a belt or a plastic slipper to beat him up; "I would never lay a hand on my child."

Relationship: Marc's mother supports the idea of Marc succeeding his father as the figurehead. She makes sure that he's well educated in their Religion and in English, but would always be disappointed and shout at him whenever he gets a question wrong or stutters during an oral presentation. She treats him like a trophy in a glass case, something to proud about and to be polished every day. However, every trophy will get scratches and dents; It just so happens Marc has many due to the emotional abuse he takes from his mother.

Grandmother: Ramila Dabon †

Relationship: Marc's grandmother was the only positive light in his life. However, he had forgotten most of his memories with her, since she died when he was so young. All he knows about her was that she took care of him whenever his parents went abroad for missions. He's grateful that at least one of his family members was kind.​
