Neither school had formal grading but Magne certainly sat in the middle, never the best student and never the worst. Though he’d always just claim that it was because they never really did anything that would interest him.
FAVOURITE CLASS
Sports, largely because it involved being outside or running around. In greece they did a lot of swimming, so he liked that aspect of the class a lot.
LEAST FAVOURITE CLASS
English as a language class, in both schools he had a pretty poor teacher and just struggled to pay attention, much more interested in other things, he absolutely does wish he had paid more attention to it.
SKIPPING CLASS?
Magne wouldn’t miss school, one because he’s a bit young to wonder alone and because despite not being the best at it, and preferring to be on the water, he doesn’t hate it.
SCHOOL CLUBS
Only at the school in Greece did he take part in any clubs, and that was primarily the fishing club, swimming club and general after school club. There wasn’t much else to do so the clubs just made sense.

Magne was in absolute awe of the place. He had see many incredible things but this was unlike anything else. He liked the look of it immediately, even if it took him a while to see any of the water though he was able to hear it pretty easily. He is very excited to be there.

THOUGHTS WHILE BEING SORTED
Magne didn't entirely know what was happening. He knew nothing about magic, about the school, and struggled to follow along with what was going on. He liked the song, and he liked watching people be sorted into the various houses. He liked being sorted, the hat spoke with him, and he just understood what was being said, but he wasn't sure which language the hat spoke in.
SORTING POST
Magne still couldn’t quite believe that he was a wizard. An actual wizard. He had a wand, he was at magical school. He was going to be learning magic. He was going to see magical things. He was ready. There was a tiny hiccup in the place, in that Magne’s english wasn’t quite where it should be, he hadn’t liked the teachers he had and had struggled to learn it. But not it was a necessity. He could understand bits and pieces if people spoke slowly. The girl, Sofi, on the train had been nice enough to do that for him, but he doubted that others would do so. Magne was looking at the hall in awe, unable to really look away from how beautiful and incredible it was. He had seen a lot of things in his life, but this was unlike anything he’d ever seen before. Magne joined the group of students at the front and he was curious as to what happened next, given that the students were sitting at four tables with different coloured ties. SORTING POST
The man began speaking, and Magne could figure that this man was the headmaster. He had that air to him. He was saying a lot of things though. Magne was able to get bits and pieces of it, but he wasn’t following along that closely. He was trying to, but it was hard. He could figure out from it though that there were houses, that they had odd names, but that they would be sorted into them, with the hat. Magne wasn’t sure what he expected the hat to be, but singing was not it. It was very difficult for Magne to understand much of what was being said, but he still enjoyed the tune. It was like any american song. Magne then watched as people were sorted. The hat would sit silently and the announce a place. A table would then begin to applaud. He watch Sofi get sorted into Hufflepuff and then others into other houses. He wasn’t sure what any of it meant, but he was eager.
“Kleos, Magne,”
He heard his own name, but it took Magne a moment to react, and then he was moving forward. He sat down, and the hat was placed on his head. He had no idea that the hat would see inside his head and just hoped the hat spoke more than just english.
"I've got a lot of magic in me that helps me to find what I need and make sure you get to the right place...and know it too. You've got quite the mind for learning and a curiosity that will thrive in...Ravenclaw!"
