Belladonna awoke and instantly began to feel as if she had been hit by a truck. "Stupid duel." The blonde thought to herself grimly. She was already upset that she she had lost the duel, but the fact that she had lost to Vladimir made it so much worse. He had literally blast her off the stage, and she swore he could hear a chorus of laughs and gasps within the room. Belladonna was embarrassed. Everyone would probably think she was worthless now, all because she was stupid enough to not pay full attention to her surroundings. Belladonna heard movement beside her, and she opened her eyes. It was the school nurse who had come over to check on Belladonna. Belladonna was able to sit up with some assistance where she was then told that she came out of that duel really lucky. Belladonna didn't feel very lucky but she remained silent and listened to all the injuries she come out of that duel with. Apparently her worst injury was a broken shoulder blade and a couple of fractured bones. But the rest was mostly just bruising. The nurse was able to heal all that was broken and fractured but wanted Belladonna to spend the night in the hospital wing just in case.

After she walked away, Belladonna was left with her own thoughts. Chances were high that she'd probably have to write to her dad and explain why she wound up here, but she was too bummed to be writing any letters. She felt ashamed to be herself, and it was slowly becoming clear that Vladimir really wanted nothing more than to ruin Belladonna however possible. "I hate that boy." Belladonna crossed her arms over her chest and laid back down. Belladonna had no idea whether Erik or Matty had seen the duel, but she sort of hoped they did so they'd think to come down and visit her. Otherwise she'd be bored for the rest of the night and left to entertain herself with her own imagination. Not even half an hour passed before Belladonna was close to falling asleep once more, but another set of footsteps pulled her from her sleepy state. She appeared to be one of the few students in here, so was it a visitor for her. When the owner of the footsteps stepped around the curtain for Belladonna to see, she grinned widely. Best visitor she could think of!

It was weeks and weeks from the Yule Ball, and Ivaylo Zhefarovich-Dolohov had no intention of going. Not only that, he had no intention of asking Belladonna Metzger. After all, she was a part-veela, and that would just never do. He couldn't have something like that on his arm, even though she had this massive crush on him. Understandably so too. But, he knew that there was something between Belladonna and Vladimir, so he was going to investigate it. Naturally, Ivaylo had his own agenda, and no one suspected a thing. After hearing about how Vladimir completely destroyed Belladonna in a duel, he knew where Belladonna would be. She would be in the hospital wing. Ivaylo felt determined to make his way there. He almost wished he had seen the duel, but he was out of the tournament because his opponent was being an idiot. He had to face some Gryffindor chick that had no status. Ugh. Stupid. He walked into the hospital wing and he saw Belladonna just light up. "Hey there, sweets. How are you feeling?" He walked over to her bed side, and he sat down. She didn't look like she was that hurt, so that was a good thing. She didn't need to be hurt. Yet.

Belladonna was so relieved to see that her visitor was none other than Ivaylo. The only person better would could have been Matt, and she wasn't sure if he was in the middle of a duel or not. "Ivaylo! How'd your duel go?" A slight shade of pink overcame Belladonna's cheeks as she up and adjusted her hair to rid herself of bedhead. He must have gotten wind of her losing the duel and decided to come up and check on her. What a sweetheart! He asked how she was feeling, which forced Belladonna to bite the inside of her cheek. Did he know that she lost to his cousin? "I lost my duel to Vladimir. I'm embarrassed actually. He made me look weak." Belladonna gripped the blanket covering her legs and squeezed until she noticed her knuckles becoming white. Her gaze fell to her lap and she sighed. Her injuries didn't hurt nearly as bad as her feelings did. Every single day, Belladonna fought hard to become better in every way possible. Better at casting spells, Quidditch, even trying to keep herself from getting hurt by the words of others. Thank god for people like Ivaylo and Matt to keep her sane. Otherwise Hogwarts wouldn't be worth the terrible way she often felt within the castle.
