<I><SIZE size="150">Why do you ask? It's not like you care;;
Forename:
Maddox. Yes, it sounds like a girls name. You don't have to remind me every day of my life. It's bad enough that my brothers all got good names. Perhaps my parents wanted a girl so badly they named me this.
Nicknames:
Mad; Max; Though 'mad' is most often just used as an insult. For this reason, I hear it quite often. Doesn't mean they get away with it, though.
Middle name(s):
None. Absolutely none. My parents probably decided they didn't want to have to remember their own son's many names. I suppose they always did lead simple lives.
Surname:
Jupiter. I like it. It makes me feel stronger than I really am. Planets are huge, right?
Age:
15. I can't wait to be 18. I'll finally be able to make my own choices. Following in everyone else's footsteps - mainly my parents - is horribly depressing.
Gender:
100% male. And if you make any rude remark about my name sounding like Maddie...
Blood status:
Mixed blood. I'd always hoped I might be the first pureblood in the family. No such luck.
Area of residence:
The world. Ok, I'll tell you. A town in Germany. That's all there is to know.
Sexual orientation:
I've never really been sure of this one. I guess that's just another reason why I feel so confused about my life. I don't see people as male or female. Everybody is human. For now, I'll say straight.
<SIZE size="150">I can't believe you're still reading;;
Personality:
If you ask me this... I'd tell you I don't really have a personality. It changes with every damn person I meet. I try to be sympathetic with other people, to cheer them up when they need it. But usually, it's simply thrown back in my face. That's probably why I end up being so closed in from everybody else - which just makes me look weird. Sometimes, I pretend I'm stronger than everybody else, intimidating, even. It's what gets me through the rough patches. But I'm sure people see right through me. I sound like such a grouchy teenager when somebody asks me a question, but really... I have to be that way. Otherwise I'd break down. I don't think I'll ever get a girlfriend; not that I want one or anything. They just don't get me. Believe me, they've tried to understand, but I guess it's just too much for their inconsiderate little brains. If the right girl comes along, I'll know.
History:
I think I should go way back before I was born. Before my older brothers were born, too. It was January 2008. My Mum, whose name makes me cringe, and therefore she will simply be referred to as 'Mum', was working in some little shoe shop in England. She knew she was magical - a half blood, as it were - yet she chose to live a Muggle's life. Complete fool, in my opinion. Still, this was where she met her Husband to be, aka 'Dad'. He was a mixed blood. It was just by chance they were both magical, and don't ask me how they broke the news to each other. That poor man must have been desperate. It only took a month for them to be a married couple. Two weeks later, Mum finds out she's pregnant with my eldest brother, Xythan. Apparently, when my Dad heard this news, he seemed to be out on odd 'business' trips all the time. Mum had a right to be suspicious. 3 months into the pregnancy, it was revealed Dad had already been cheating on her. Poor woman. She tried to turn to drink, but her own Mother talked her out of it. It definitely would have harmed the unborn baby. She didn't really want another boyfriend, ever. But when Xythan was born, it was obvious she couldn't stand on her own two feet. Money was tight, and she was living at her Mother's house. Must have been torture. My Grandma is such an old bag.
It turned out I would hate my dad. Obviously I didn't know this at the time, but Mum's next boyfriend was my Dad, too. Not before Mum popped another sprog out, though. Max, this time. I don't know why she gave me and Xythan weird names but named Max after her Grandad. Maybe she thought he was the prettier child. By this time, Xythan was already two years old. I hear he tried to hold Max and dropped him, which doesn't really surprise me. Xythan's the clumsiest of us all, though we're all a bit that way. He was never allowed to hold Max again, anyway.
Finally, in 2014, when Max was... Oh I can't remember, Mum had me. She probably knew it was going to be a disaster the moment she found out she was going to have a third child. And then when she found out it was another boy, she was most likely devistated. Of course, she couldn't treat me any differently to my brothers. She didn't have to. I was born blind in my right eye. I was three weeks premature, and I cried every night for months. I feel quite sorry for my Mum. She had to put up with me. I've never given her anything in return. But I always knew I was going to be the one people cared about least. It was all eyes on my amazing brothers. I would sit in the corner in my blue, moon patterened pyjamas, watching my brothers playing games with my parents. Every now and then, I recall my dad giving me a dirty glare out of the corner of his eye. The sad thing is, I've never known why.
When my brother's recieved their Hogwarts letters... Well, I personally couldn't wait to get my own. They were teary about leaving, but I couldn't have been more excited. Two days before my eleventh birthday, my parents decided we were moving to Germany, and that I'd be attending Durmstrang instead, while my brothers finished their years at Hogwarts. For a long time, I couldn't understand why. Then I realized it was because they were ashamed of me. All of them. So I wasn't particularily bright, and you could call me 'different', but they had no right to banish me from their lives as though I was nothing but a mere scab. Still, I got away from the house by going to Durmstrang. Nobody ever wrote me letters. I remember my parents writing hundreds of letters to my brothers at Hogwarts. When I asked them about it one summer, they told me that they had sent letters, and maybe the owl had got lost on the way. I knew better now. Before they could lie to me and I believed them. I guess as I've got older, I'm starting to see through them. I just wish they didn't ignore me all the time.<SIZE size="50">
