[Step-Mother]: [Geovanna Adler-Cade] Lumos grew up with Geo as his mum, and has called her mum pretty much from the moment he could talk. They weren't yet married until he was about two or three, early enough that he barely remembers it, and so she's the only mother he's ever known and mostly talks about her as such. If you didn't know the family when Maddie was in it, you would be forgiven for assuming Geo is his biological mother. He's never said any differently.
[Father]: [James Cade] Lumos does admire his dad, even if he does get disrespectful at times. He trusts his dad to mostly do what's right by him and knows he's seen things he can never and would never talk about. There was a time a for a while when he desperately wanted to follow in his dad's footsteps, but that ship sailed some time ago.
[Sister]: [Bailey Walden-Cade] Lumos loves his older sister most of the time, but she's the clear favourite of the family even if she says that's nonsense. Only the favourite child would say that.
[Sister]: [Veronica Walden-Cade] Lumos is pretty convinced that Veronica hates him and so he tends to antagonise her in ways he knows will get a rise out of her. In his mind, they have a pretty poor relationship and she doesn't really consider him family. It stems from a joke he made in his first year that ended up going too far, and since they he's grown to make a lot of assumptions about how she feels about him and she hasn't really gone out of her way to make him change his mind.
[Sister]: [Millie Walden-Cade] Of his older sisters, Lumos finds Millie to be the most tolerable. If he absolutely must be in one of their company, he would choose Millie over the others every time. She's non-confrontation for the most part, which he enjoys and he can just exist in her space where she won't bother him. He likes that.
[Brother]: [Nox Walden-Cade] Lumos and Nox are ride or die for each other. No matter the lie, the other will run with it until death. They aren't able to spend as much time together these days as they used to, and they are slowly starting to develop more distinct personalities from each other, but they are still hard to tell apart to the untrained eye (James)
