Veronica ran as fast as she could until she tripped down cold stone steps, far away from her father. This trip was not going the way she had planned, and as she wanted to explore on her own, she had landed herself in the unique trouble as usual. The temperature seemed to drop around her and she pulled her arms closer in around her. Usually, she wouldn't judge people, but these weren't too calming. Gulping, she backed into a wall and let out a soft screech that could barely be heard anyway as she looked around. What was this place?

She looked and walked farther down the street to where she saw what she instantly could tell were witches and wizards. Veronica felt safer, in an odd way, but figured that she could trust what she thought were outsiders.

Darian was strolling the dark street like he usually did. Being in the darkness inspired him. He took out his notebook as he walked, pausing to write down a small lyric. He smirked and kept walking. Soon he came upon a girl, she looked a bit uneasy but she wasn't freaking out. Thinking she looked nice enough he walked up to her. "Hey, come here often." He laughed after he realized how corny that was.

Veronica gasped at the sound of the voice and spun around to find a boy around her age speaking to her. Her hands tensed up as she ran them through her hair. "Don't come up behind me," she said sharply and then thought back to his question. "And actually no, I think I'm rather lost. I was wandering and ended up here, but this crowd of people seem nice enough," she said, gesturing around her and saw a humpbacked warlock stare back at her and gave a rough smile. Veronica turned away instantly and started walking in the other direction, but stopped when she realized again that she had no clue where she was going.

What was wrong with her? This was her first chance to have some fun and adventures. Turning back to the boy, she asked, "Do you come here often?"

Darian chuckled when she snapped at him. He wasn't surprised when she said she was lost. He actually laughed when she started walking away but stifled it when she turned around. With a smile he answered her question. "Yeah, I do. It's a good place to stroll and think, as long as you stay away from the bad spots."

Veronica frowned at the boy and crossed her arms. "What bad spots? This place looks..perfectly normal," she said, resigning her last thought because she knew it wasn't true. "Where could you go for a stroll at?" She saw an empty alleyway down the way and looked at the boy with her eyebrows raised and then directed herself in the direction of the alley.

"You'll just have to believe me when I say there are bad parts." Darian said in a stern voice. "Besides, if you think about it you can take a stroll any where you want to." He walked forward a few steps. "See I'm strolling." He remarked in a very cocky voice.

Tightening her arms so that her shirt was now scrunched in the front, Veronica watched the boy walk forward. She pursed her lips and narrowed her eyes. "Who do you think you are, Mr. I Know Everything? Sure, you may know more about this world than me, but it doesn't give you the right to tell me what I should and shouldn't be doing." By this point, Veronica had made her way up to the boy so that she was nose and nose, or rather, nose and shoulder with him. She spun on her heel, surprised at her own outburst and sighed, wondering where exactly she was supposed to go to get out of here, but too afraid to ask any adults, as even the witches didn't look too motherly. She had a gut feeling that this kid was her only ticket out of the alleyway.

Darian laughed softly at her outburst. He had to admit she was a strong one, that was good. This world needed a few strong witches. He walked besides her and gave her a friendly look."I was offering advice, not telling. To different things, that I promise." He looked up, "So do you want out or not? I've no problem taking you to the main street, cause you know, I'm a nice guy like that." He smirked at the end and was surprised he kept himself from laughing.

Veronica narrowed her eyes and stood beside the boy. "Well, since we're already here, why not 'go for a stroll'?" she asked, trying to sound confident, this being one of the few times that she actually wasn't. She let her arms down and threw one on her hip, looking around. The street had seemed to empty more, all of a sudden.

[[this looks like a fun RP to terrorise :p sorry if you don't want me in here, just ignore me if you don't]]

Adira left the poison Ater and saw two what looked like Children wandering around she simpley rolled her eyes. Adira kept in the shadows and appeared behind the two "this is not a place for 11 year olds" she said as she looked at them both "what is your buisness here" she added putting her hands on her hips, he emerald green eyes blazing from the shadows.

Darian was about to agree to 'go for a stroll' when a older girl interupted them. "I do believe my business is none of yours, and I may go where I please thank you. He pulled him up to his full stature. Giving him the confedance of his whole family line, he gave her a very annoyed look. If she wanted to be high and mighty. So could He.

Adira looked at the boy, "well you are in bleak street, your buisness is now anyone's buisness" she said looking at him as he pulled himself up she just rolled her eyes. "either way this street isn't a place for children, you being children shouldn't be here" she said, "whats your roots" she said refering to there family history, usually that would be the only reason why children would be allowed on bleak street.

Darian smirked. "I may go where I please thank you." He was surprised when she asked for his roots. He thought about lying to her but didn't see the point. "I hail from Romania, not that it matters to you."

Veronica spun around at the sound of the girl's voice. She looked her in the eyes when she came forward and crossed her arms, uncomfortabley. "It's not like you're much older, anyway. So you shouldn't be bossing 'little children' like yourself around," she replied with a sneer and menacing smile. When the girl asked for her roots, Veronica looked toward the boy and listened as he said he was from Romania.

A blank look came upon her voice. What was she supposed to say? She knew neither of the two's names and very little about the wizarding world in general. This girl, although, didn't seem to be too happy with people coming around these parts anyway, so she decided to play it up, if needed. "I'm from around the area. Why're you asking?"

Darian was surprised. 'This girl does have guts after all. Not bad.' He smirked and then glared at the new girl, waiting for her to answer.
