Alyssa huffed as she wiped a some dirt off of her Outfit. She had been looking forward to a day of shopping and relaxation, but as life would put it Alyssa felt more worried about people, dirt, or animals scuffing up her new Clothes. Walking around an arguing couple Alyssa brought her fingers up to shakily run them through her straigtened blonde hair for a moment. People were making her nervous, which was ruining her shopping time, especially since Alyssa was hoping to pick up some Halloween candy before she finished her day here.

'I wonder if anyone I know is around? Alyssa thought to herself as she scanned the street. It didn't have to be someone she was friends with, she just wanted a familiar face. Maybe someone with her would help her become less nervous and be able to finally shop like she had wanted.

Patricia was glad that it was the Brightstone weekend. She was gad to get out of the castle for a while and get back to work. Patricia had considerably more hours now during the holidays and weekends as Harriet had left HNZ last year, not that she minded. In fact she was happy to get the extra hours, it took her mind of school and the ever growing workload.

After finishing work for the day she decided to have a look around the shops, not sure if she was going to buy anything, but jsut browse. Walking up the Village she was looking around, wondering if any of her friends were around. Ahead of her she saw a familiar figure, "Hey Aly." She said happily to her fellow third year. She had always got on well with Aly, apart from that fateful day in first year, but that was long forgotten, even though they didn't talk that much.

Alyssa stopped looking around when she heard her name called. She turned her head to the direction of the voice and immediantly smiled brightly. Alyssa hadn't really chatted or seen Pat in awhile. In fact they barely conversed at all in their second year. Being in different houses often was the reason behind this problem.

"Hey Pat! What are you doing all the way in Brightstone?" Alyssa already figured that she might be just trying to get away from school.

Patricia returned the smile and replied, "Oh I just got off work for the day and thought I'd do some browsing." She said shrugging lightly. "Not too fussed on going back up to the castle anyway, not a lot to do." She continued. "What about you?" She asked in return.

Alyssa lifted her eyebrow curiously at Patricia. Alyssa had known that she had a job, yest at the same time Alyssa would also probably be surprised if she didn't have one. Pat seems like the type to excel in something like that.

"Eh..trying to shop. But there seems to be a huge crowd today....and recently large crows have been making me a tad nervous." Alyssa looked away to avoid Pat's gaze in case she wanted to question why. Alyssa didn't really know the answer, except that it made her feel like she was being watched...al the time.

"I didn't know you had a job. Where do you work?" Alyssa wondered if it had been a shop that she visited often.

(Sorry but I'm back to RPing full time now ^_^ )

"Trying to shop?" Patricia asked with a laugh, "I thought you loved shopping." She said, although she could be wrong. Patricia give a small shrug, "Yeah I suppose these weekends are very popular, everyone wants to get out." She agreed, it was hard to move around the place. Patricia looked at Aly, worridely, nervous she thought to herself.

She was going to ask her about it but Aly had brought up a different topic so decided it was something touchy and she didn't want to talk about it. Patricia respected people's privacy so gladly took the subject change. "Oh yeah, had it since first year. Was really lucky actually." Patricia beamed, she had been, the owner was desperate and took on the first two people who arrived at his door, "It's the General Store." She answered simply, "It's not the most glamours of shops, but the pay is good and Elliot is the best." She said fondly, she always liked her boss, but always thought of her more as a big sister and friend. "What about you? Any jobs?" She asked in return.

Alyssa shrugged her shoulders with a meek smile on her face. She could sense Pat's nervousness about the large amount of people. When a smelly man bumped into Alyssa's shoulders she sighed and stepped closer to Pat seeing as she seemed to be safe from being run into. With a small giggle Alyssa decided to answer Patricia's comment.

"I do love to shop. But ever since I found out that I had Part-Veela blood, I've been nervous in big crowds for some odd reason." Alyssa answered soflty as her smile to a firm line as Alyssa bit her bottom lip. "I also have a job at Dervish & Banges. I don't really need one...but it gives me something to do other then hang around the castle all day."
