Looking for Adventure

So far Jocelynn hadn't seen much of the grounds of her new home. She loved the castle and her common room. It was all she could have thought it would be and more. But she was missing out on the adventures she used to take with her father and sister almost daily out into nature exploring and looking for new plants that he could add to his herbologist collection. Her sister who she refers to as Sissy would get to have all those adventures with their father alone this year and Jocelynn was rather jealous. The only way she's get to beat that would be to take some adventures of her own. She was pretty sure she wouldn't be allowed into the nearby village until she was older which meant the Gryffindor was bound to the grounds. She thought this first week would be a great time for exploring, even if it was winter and cold outside.

Hugging her thick sweater around her Jocelynn headed outside. She couldn't wait for Spring to fall upon the grounds and then summer. She was sure summer was beautiful here in New Zealand and probably not as hot. Although, she didn't really know much about the New Zealand climate. She saw a sign post pointing out different places on the grounds and thought the Cliffs sounded the most interesting, even if it was technically off limits to the students. Heading up was easy and when she reach the top, Jocelynn grinned as she looked out over the water of the lake and breathed in the fresh air. This, this would be her home away from home the next seven years she could feel it.

So late sorry but here it is!

Liam was really liking his time at Hogwarts and could find his way around the castle pretty good. Inside most of the rooms were good to find and otherwise he could ask pretty and nice girls for the way, that wasn't bad either. He wanted to pay a visit outside and explore there some, since mostly he was inside studying for his future. He took it very seriously and hoped his grades would prove that. He walked a bit further and tried to walk until there was nothing left to walk on anymore. And so he came to the Cliffs and it seemed kinda dangerous, you could just slip and fall. So he stayed far away from where the ground stopped. Than he noticed a famillar girl he had seen with classes. He guessed she was in Gryffindor and put on his charming smile. He felt like he was drawn to her and had to talk. When he came closer he saw a flower and picked it up between the grass. '' Hi there. What is a pretty girl like you doing in such a dangerous place?'' he asked friendly to the girl with his usual smile. The girl seemed interesting and in classes he had seen her before. He pointed with the flower to the girl, so she could take it. He was just being nice to her, and was wondering what brought her here.

Jocelynn turned from the edge towards the sound of a voice coming towards her. She recognized the boy as one who talked to her in one of their first classes of the semester. Liam, she was pretty sure his name was Liam although she couldn't place his house. She gave him a half smile not really sure what he meant about the Cliffs being dangerous, he was there as well so it clearly didn't scare him. She half wondered if he had followed her up there, but she'd been there for some time so it didn't seem likely unless he was a very slow climber up the hill. "I'm just taking in the terrifying......ly beautiful view," Jocelynn said leading up to make him think she was scared but changing at the last second to show how she really was just appreciating the view. She sat down on the edge and nodded for him to join her taking the flower from his hand putting it behind her ear. Jocelynn herself was too young to notice when a boy was flirting or thinking of things other than friendships and the place they were in.
