It was another typical day here at Obsidian Harbour.
The hustle and bustle of withes and wizards doing their own things, many who clutch shopping bags, others holding onto hands of their lovers and then there were people like Willow. Who had simply had nothing to do until her flight back into Dunedin and to kill time and money that she knew she shouldn't spend, was to go wandering around window shopping...until the urge to buy something kicks in.
Today, it just happened she bought some cookery books and her compulsory second year book, clutching her package in one hand and her small tote bag in the other, she started wandering around. By now, she would have bumped into someone she would have known, Chris, as usual, would forever be disappearing somewhere that Willow wouldn't know.
With her head down, she walked against the winter breeze, concentrating on not falling on the icy pathway like she did four times before going into Flourish and Blotts and three times since leaving the shop. The bruise count had to be amazing.
Feeling sore and a little bruised, Willow walked into something that did not feel like a pole or something remotely stand-still.
"Ah!" She gasped as she lost her footing and fell; She looked up to the girl extending her hand out, she had to be younger than Willow. "Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't see where I was going!" Willow exclaimed as she grabbed hold of the girls hand to pick her self up, grabbing her book package along the way.
