Long Walks

[Shaylah Rouge]

Shaylah sat on a bench in Obsidian and took her shoes off so she could cross her legs. She opened one of the bagstat she had put down in front of the bench ad got out a lollypop whic she unwrapped and put in her mouth.
She was in a suprisingly good mood today for absolutely no reason at all. She had walked the same root a hundred times and never been this happy.
Taking her cardigan off, Shaylah looked at the people passing by to see if there were any familiar faces to talk to. She hadn't bumped into anyone today which she would usually thin of as a good thing but today she wanted to talk.

[James Carter]

James was out walking with his sister they had been walking in what most people would consider an uncomfortable silence but in reality they were talking without words.

They had decided to go for a walk so they could escape their parents for a bit, they were near a place where they had taken to sitting, mostly in silence lost in their own thoughts but that didn't matter because they were together and away from home.

Today was different, James noticed the girl sat on thier bench just before his sister, he continued to walk towards the girl, normally he would have been too shy but he didn't really care today.

They reached the girl and James spoke first "Got a bit of a sweet tooth have we?" he asked indicating the lolly pop she had in her mouth, with a cheeky smile he added "Mind if we join you?, only your on our bench" he joked, And waited for the girl to reply.

Shaylah turned her head when she heard a boy talk. She looked up and saw a boy about her age with brown hair. "Yeah, sure. Go ahead." Shaylah moved her stuff over so there was room for the boy and girl.
She looked at the boy again and said "By the way, my name's Shaylah. What's your name??"
