BASIC DESCRIPTION Liam's skin is a ghostly shade of white, which looked as if he hadn't been out in the sun for too long, which is true, as he preferred the solace of his room than the rowdy and chaotic world outside. His eyes, cold and glaring, is dark brown in color, and his lips were mostly in a thin line and usually scowling. When he is not reading, he is mostly sleeping and thus, lacks any athletic qualities. He is lean and is lacking in any physical prowess, and his height is average for his age. A fact that he hated as he thinks it made him look vulnerable. His hair appears to be a dark shade of brown under certain light conditions, mostly, however, it is seen as black in color. His features are mostly Asian which he had inherited from his mother.

He writes with his left hand and does everything else with his right hand. VOICE/MANNER OF SPEAKING: Baritone. Liam speaks harshly. His tone is usually too rude even though he didn't intend it to be so. He also tend to not filter his words and thus, appears rather cruel.
ACCENT and LANGUAGES: Bring born in England, Liam had an accent, though because of his stay at Hogwarts New Zealand, that accent wasn't as strong as before. His accent wasn't as obvious unless he was agitated or annoyed. Aside from his native language, he can also speak Korean.
POSTURE: Liam's upbringing had taught him how to carry himself well. He has proper posture, though most of the time, he appears to be overly stiffed.
CLOTHING PREFERENCE: Liam prefers dark clothes. When not wearing his uniform, he is mostly seen wearing long sleeved shirts and pants.

GENERAL PERSONALITY: Over-all, Liam is quick to irritation. He is cold and cruel, and has a habit of throwing death threats at anyone who annoys him. He, however, doesn't usually follow through with these threats as he considers it to be a waste of his time. He hates having his plans compromised, and would be extremely annoyed once something goes wrong and would usually direct his irritation at anything and anyone within the vicinity. He mostly tries to keep his emotions in checks, but he has little to no patience so it was all in vain. He is mostly controlled by his anger and pride. He hates authority and would refuse to bow down to anyone. He demands respect anywhere he goes, and usually gets caught in a middle of an argument because of his stubborn personality. He doesn't know when to give up and when to admit defeat.Liam has an obvious aversion to any form of physical contact, thus, he doesn't like getting into physical fights. However, he wouldn't hold back in verbal arguments. He wasn't one for profanity, but he is prone to cursing whenever someone really gets in his nerves. Though not fond of physically hurting anyone, he would usually let his anger get the best of him and would not hesitate to throw a punch or two, especially if he deemed the recipient to be worthy of such physical harm.
He is the type to hate easily and not to forget grudges. His grudges last a lifetime, and it is hard to change his opinion on things. Once he set his mind on something, he would do it. He has a one track mind, and though capable of holding lifelong alliances, it is more likely that he'd hold lifelong grudges. He constantly kills people in his mind. His past time is to making his enemies undergo different versions of tortures in his mind. He has a pretty active imagination for a boy who is usually cold and cruel.
What does make him different from any people his age is his preoccupation with trying to optimize his potential by time management. Unlike the average teenager who is prone to procrastination, he is always careful about being efficient with his time, and it is rather unhealthy to the point of obsession. He hates tardiness and always wanted things to go as scheduled.

STRENGTHS: Liam is opinionated. He is the type to fight for his beliefs, no matter what the consequences of fighting for it would be. He is also extremely aware of his time, and would usually plan ahead instead of diving head first into anything.
WEAKNESSES: Liam's worst trait is his pride, which Is absurdly huge even for a Nightray. He is too proud that it is mostly the reason why he gets into fights. He wouldn't accept defeat even though his loss IS ALREADY OBVIOUS. That doesn't mean, however, that he would blame others for his own fault. His pride wouldn't let him do that. He doesn't like being helped and would do everything on his own, even though he is already having a hard time with it. He is too proud to accept any help.

SPENDING FREE-TIME: Liam hates crowding. Thus, even during his free time, he refused to go out of his room and socialize. Usually, when he didn't have to do anything, he would be reading a book or just sleeping. On rare times that his siblings or cousins could get him to do something, he would usually complain during the entire day about how his time was wasted doing worthless things.
SPENDING NON-FREE TIME: Liam has a one track mind. Once he had something to do, nothing could distract him from it. When tasked to do something, he would make sure to do it well, unless of course, the circumstances prevents him from doing so. Liam also refuses to do things he didn't like, thus, once given a task that he hates, he wouldn't do it no matter how much someone persuades him to do it. Every member of the Nightray family is taught of the value of Pride. They take pride of their name, of their accomplishments, and of them being purebloods. Every Nightray is taught not to yield to anything or anyone.

Although every member was taught not to bounded by anything, the Nightrays are bounded by the past. They were not one to let go of any grudge. A Nightray can be one's life long ally, but they can also take their hatred to the grave.

Mikael Grey Nightray Deceased Charles' and Sharon's second born son and Liam's father. Mikael, like his father, is a solitary figure. Decisive and reserved, he was the perfect candidate to take over their father's position once the latter retires. Like most Nightrays, Mikael wasn't one to express his feelings. He is cold and stern, direct and proud. However, he does treat his children nicely. Though he had a lot of work to do, he does set time to spend with his family. He wasn't as prejudiced as his parents. He and his wife passed away when Liam was only six. | 
Annika Lee Nightray Deceased Annika was the youngest daughter of the Lee family, a pure blood family from South Korea. Annika and Mikael met in Hogwarts, she was a Ravenclaw while the other was a Slytherin. Annika is the daughter in law anyone could wish for. Graceful, witty, with the right amount of humour, Sharon was quick to like her. She treats all the member of the Nightray household nicely, and she was well admired and liked by many. Mikaela Rianne Lee Nightray 19, Hogwarts Graduate, Slytherin Mikaela in a word, is over-dramatic, bossy, and ambitious. She is an honest girl who speaks her mind with no ill intentions. She does not really care about what other people think of her and would say whatever she wants regardless if people get embarrassed or not. She is bold and dominant and can be quite sarcastic and can exhibit a confidence that borders on smugness. She is extremely protective too, and is also quite clingy, often charging into her brother's and sister's room to ask for a hug and for random reasons. | 
Ariadne Ilayda Lee Nightray 12, Ravenclaw Ariadne is the youngest among Mikael's and Annika's children. She is whimsical and is often found reading books or tinkering random things. She loves to interject random facts during conversations and is quite a fan of occult stuff. She is smart, but people often mistakes her to be an airhead because of her clumsy personality. She's overly sensitive with the people around her, and thus, can be easily affected by their emotions. She is also extremely nervous and jumpy, and the slightest things can make her flustered. Her catch phrase is 'I don't know how to deal with this'. She has nearly no experience in dealing with people and is thus, socially awkward. She is an introvert and being around other people drains her energy though she is in no way shy. |
Sharon Grey Nightray Liam's grandmother. She is extremely strict and prejudiced. As her husband had no time for meager tasks, Sharon deals with the family matters. She is quick to notice her children and grandchildren's flaws and wouldn't hesitate to call them out for it. She is a perfectionist and an elitist. She thinks that she's better than everyone else. She views herself as the queen of the Nightray household. | 
Charles Middford Nightray Charles is the head of the Nightray family. The kids rarely see him as he rarely leaves his room. He rarely talks to the members of his family too and would only call for them when he needed something. Like his wife, he is strict, though he wasn't as prejudiced as she was. He is a solitary figure. Life in the Nightray mansion is like a game of chess, he is the king, and the members are his pawns. |
Sebastian Grey Nightray Sebastian is Sharon's and Charles' first born son. Like his mother, he is extremely proud and prejudiced. He thinks that he is high up in the hierarchy of the society. He resents his brother Mikael because his parents treat the younger better than him. Because of his impulsiveness and because he wasn't as wise as his brother, his parents considered him as a failure. He hates his brother so much that he was actually overjoyed when the younger died, thinking that his father would then consider him for the position of the head of the house. However, instead of looking at his direction, Charles and Sharon immediately jumped to the next generation, completely disregarding Sebastian. Celeste Grey Nightray </SIZE> Celeste is the youngest child of Sharon and Charles. She took Liam and his siblings as well as Armin and Rivaille under her wing when the children's parents died. Arianna Denise Nightray 17, Gryffindor Arianna is Elizabeth's and Hayato's first born daughter. Being of the same age, she and Liam used to play together when they were younger. She is extremely frail though and had to be treated with utmost care. She is sweet and caring and is the closest one to Liam. However, after the death of their parents, they drifted away from each other. She had to be sent out and live away from them. However, despite how many years it had been since they last saw each other, and despite Liam being colder than he was before, he still favors her the most out of his relatives, even preferring her than his own siblings. | 
Armin Xavierre Nightray 12, Gryffindor Armin is Arianna's younger brother. Impulsive, flashy, and loud, He is prone to accidents and troubles. He lacks filter and will not hesitate to call someone an idiot in front of their face. However, he has humble mannerisms courtesy of how he had been brought up. He is ambitious and uncaring, his catch phrase being 'I don't care'. He detaches himself from other people and prefers to be by himself. BEFORE HOGWARTS
Born to Mikael Nightray and Annika Lee, Liam was the second born son in the family of five. Annika and Mikael were both ministry workers and both graduated from Hogwarts Scotland. Despite being the second born son, Mikael was originally the successor to the headship of the family, a fact that his older brother, Sebastian, frowns upon. Mikael, though prejudiced, was more open-minded about things, and it made him a perfect candidate for the position. He is smart and responsible and his accomplishments had earned him the respect of the family. His wife, Annika, was equally brilliant and accomplished. She is well spoken, elegant, and graceful. She has a way with words and is quite charming, thus, it didn't take long for her to gain Sharon Grey's and Charles Nightray's approval. The couple was well loved by the mostly cold members of the Grey and Nightray family. And most of the members expected them to lead the house to greatness.
When Mikael, Annika and Mikael's first born child, was two, the couple received one of the best news in their lives. They would be having a son. Having a son is a source of pride for any member of the Nightray family. Both the family patriarch, Charles, and his wife, wer greatly proud when they learned that they would be having a grandson from their most favoured child. Liam was born on the 21st day of May 2019. It was a huge celebration then, with even the distant members of the family attending and giving them their blessing. The mood was festive, and the usually closed great gate of the Nightray manor was opened to everyone.
Liam was a rather normal though albeit a little sickly child. Like most kids, he is easily fascinated by things. Even as a child, he is quite opinionated and would stand for what he thinks is right. His parents doted on him, especially his mother, who would always tuck him in his sleep and read him stories about great wizards. Mikael doesn't fail to shower him with attention too, usually bringing him toys whenever he's done with his work.
The Nightrays are first and foremost, a family that keeps to themselves. Although there was little sense of camaraderie among the members, they were taught that their loyalty must always rest with the family. Thus, they rarely associate themselves with other families. The Nightray kids, therefore, rarely leaves the manor. As a child, Liam's only playmates were his older sister, Mikaela and his cousin, Arianna.
As the most favored candidate to head the family, even as a young child, Liam is already held to great expectations both by her parents and the rest of the family. He is the child of Mikael and Annika, the bar had already been set for him. He was taught how to read and write by his mother, and when she is busy with work, even his grandparents would take the time to watch over him.
Liam was five when his mother gave birth to his younger sister, Ariadne. Liam wasn't used to having a younger sibling, and thus, he wasn't as close to the younger Nightray than he was with his cousin and older sister. Because she was his sister though, he was extremely protective of the younger although he tends to pay her less attention that his parents would have wanted.
As a child of Nightray family, Liam's childhood revolved around a very small world. His daily routine is composed of him attending various classes and playing with his cousin, Arianna. His early life can be considered to be fairly normal for someone from a traditional pureblood family.
Liam was seven when his parents died. It was during the celebration of Arianna's brothers' first birthday. His memory of that night wasn't clear, mostly because he had suppressed his memory of the event . But one thing was for certain, it was the start of the new him.
Because even as a kid, Liam had been raised to be proud, he didn't take kindly to those who showed him concern. He didn't want to be pitied. Due to the loss of his parents, Liam had to grow up quickly. He didn't want to be seen as a kid anymore. It was his father's younger sister, Celeste, who had taken care of him and his sisters after his parents' death.
LIFE AT HOGWARTS
Liam entered Hogwarts with little to no expectations at all. He merely attended it due to the wishes of his grandparents. He thought lowly of the school and couldn't wait to leave it as soon as he stepped his foot inside the castle. Like most of his family, he had been sorted into Slytherin. He took no pride of it though, after all, it was only to be expected. Despite being a member of the Slytherin house, however, Liam held no loyalty for it. True to his family motto, he didn't let himself be bounded by anyone nor anything.
It was at Hogwarts where Liam met those people that had influenced his life greatly, whether it is negatively, or not. He met Ai Edogawa, the person that he had initially blackmailed into being his 'puppet'. His plans, however, had backfired. Ai, instead of being useful, had been the cause of most of his troubles. It was also at Hogwarts where he crossed path with the bane of his existence, Jeremiah Raven.
At Hogwarts, Liam cost his house a lot of House points, mainly due to him being rather irritable and being involved in a lot of fights, mostly with the Gryffindor, Jeremiah. During his last years at Hogwarts, Liam had made it his mission to be a thorn on his Muggle Studies Professor's side. Because he refused to bow down to authority, he declared a one sided war with the Muggle Studies Professor. To his annoyance and disappointment, however, he had lost.
