General Description:
At 4'11', Lia is a bit tall for her age. Thanks to genetics and the inordinate amount of time she spends outdoors, she is also quite tan. In the warmer months, her nose and cheeks will sometimes be sunburnt, and her arms and legs will be dotted with insect bites. A bit accident-prone, Lia often has at least one cut or scrape thanks to her latest adventure. Although she hates the maintenance that comes along with it, Lia likes her long hair and often wears it down.
Style:
Lia's style is fairly simple and very practical. She prefers looser-fitting clothing that she can move around in easily. As a result, one can usually find her in a t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers. She's not much of a fan of dresses and skirts, what she considers "fancier" clothing, as she often gets them dirty. Lia's favorite color is green, so the color makes an appearance in much of her wardrobe. She keeps jewelry to a minimum and has a few worn, friendship bracelets on both wrists. Around her neck hangs a small working compass that was a gift from her mother. She usually keeps it tucked inside her shirt.

General Description:
Lia has always been very independent. She is perfectly content being off by herself, in her own world. Despite growing up an only child with working parents, she has never felt lonely and has gotten comfortable with being left alone by herself. Lia generally has a pretty good idea of what she wants and isn't afraid to get it. For example, if she is told to join her peers and do something she doesn't want to do, she will ignore the instructions and quietly slip away to continue doing whatever she had originally planned to do. It's not a surprise that she holds a certain disdain for most organized activity. Likewise, Lia is not very susceptible to peer pressure and sees no point in doing something she doesn't want to do.

Despite her independent nature, Lia is not anti-social. Rather, she tends not to actively pursue social interaction. If another person initiates things, Lia will gladly go along. An ambivert, Lia is as comfortable in social settings as she is by herself. She only tends to drift away if she grows bored. Lia is quite friendly and can get along with most people. Laid-back, Lia tends to forgive and forget. It is quite difficult to make her angry since she's usually very good about brushing off any inciting comments or actions. For the most part, Lia is quite apathetic to anything that doesn't directly have to do with her interests.

Direct, but not confrontational, Lia tends to tell it like it is. Sometimes, this means she's not the most tactful person as she will sometimes give voice to thoughts that would probably be best kept to herself. However, she never does it with the intention of inciting conflict. Lia doesn't have the patience for mind games or dodging certain topics and would rather just lay it all out. As a result, she's not one for passive aggressiveness or euphemisms and will make her true feelings heard. She appreciates people who do the same.

Perhaps above all, Lia is very adventurous. She grew up with a forest for her backyard, and weekend camping trips were the norm. She has always felt more comfortable in natural settings and finds flora and fauna of all types endlessly fascinating. Lia is also quite athletic. However, she tends to stay away from team sports and instead prefers outdoor recreational sports.
