As if the night couldn't get any worse, Hemi and Maddie had to be disciplined even further by none other than the deputy headmaster. It was just Maddie's luck, the first time she had got in trouble at Hogwarts it was with one of the highest ranking Professors at the school. She followed the Professor down to his office, as slow as she could. Trying to delay the inevitable, all she wanted to do was go to bed and forget about what had happened but she knew she would be in for a whole new world of pain from Professor Cliffeton.
She sighed heavily and looked to Hemi to see if he looked worried too. Surely they would laugh about this later? right? Whatever Professor Cliffeton had in store for them couldn't be too bad could it? No matter how angry he was, as long as Maddie was with Hemi it would be okay. The support of her best friend meant a lot to her, especially in a situation like this. Maybe she would have had more luck if Professor Styx would have caught them.
