HISTORY
Leo has lived in Rome since he was born, his parents are still there as well as some other family members. His parents were surprised when he, along with his older siblings, showed signs of magic at a young age. Some of Leo's family members hate the fact that he's magical while most are very enthusiastic and open about it as he has magical blood in the family. His parents had decided he move to New Zealand where Alessio and Marcella were already going to school (HNZ), where a couple of years later his sister would join. He has family in new Zealand which is why they wanted the Benivieni children to learn at this Hogwarts and not the one in France. It was easier for the family if they learned English instead of French, for personal reasons even Leo has yet to know about. Because his family members adapt easily to different places, he has found himself at home at the school and has made friends. He plans to travel after graduation, like he used to with his cousins before he turned eleven. Leo has been to many countries and has been exposed to diverse cultures - excluding the ones from his own bloodline.
