Open Lakeside Things

[Zara Woodlock]

Zara loved the cold weather. She didn't really know why but it she had always found comfort in the cold. It was already spring, but she still found the slight chill in the air from the winter to be satisfactory. It was why today, she found herself by the lake. There had been much hustle and bustle since the school year had begun and Zara just wanted out of the castle for a while. There were too many people that she was stuck with for an indefinite amount of time and it was only during classes and mealtimes that she got to see her siblings. It was stressful. She had decided to go to Hogwarts to not be separated from her siblings but they ended up being separated by their houses. New family the people had said. It didn't feel much like one to Zara. It's why she found herself sitting by the lakeside, Math book on her lap while she tried to solve the problems inside. She hadn't been able to focus much though so for the most part, she just ended up staring at the lake in front of her. It was cold. She wondered how cold the water would be.​

 

[Lillith Montgomery]

Lillith was going for a run in the cold weather. It was one of the things she enjoyed doing as there was no heat to make her sweat like crazy. Today she decided to go on a new route, towards the lake, when she saw a girl staring at the lake. “Hi!” She said slowing down to approach the girl. She decided to take a short rest. She noticed the math book on her lap. “Why are you studying math?” She asked, curious. Math wasn’t really a necessary subject to learn in the wizarding world. And to her as long as she knew the basics, Lillith thought that she’d be fine.
