Birthdate: An unknown date, 1842
Blood Status: Helena was a pureblood in life.

Appearance:
Lady Helena stands at about 5'5 however since she is a ghost she normally floats at around 6' though this may vary depending on whomever she is talking with. In life Lady Helena had fair skin with dark brown hair that was a little longer than shoulder length and bright blue eyes that were said to have a piercing quality about them, in her early years she was quite beautiful however due to her involvement in uncivilized affairs she has received a few scars from dark curses that did not heal all the way. Since her death however Lady Helena's appearance has changed slightly, she is now transparent along with being white though she still carries the air of nobility and strength that she had in her life.

Personality:
Being of Nobility, Lady Helena has a grace and demeanour not uncommon of women throughout the 1800s, however, she is kind towards all people and has a history of acting out when she feels something is not 'right'. She can be harsh towards her enemies and tends to speak her mind whenever it pleases her. After her death, however, she has quieted down more since she has since grown quite ashamed of the fact that she did not move on when she was supposed to and now has to live eternity in the living world where she no longer feels she belongs.

History:
Helena lived in England during the mid-nineteenth century (the 1800's), she attended the Hogwarts in Scotland in the year 1853 and was sorted into Gryffindor house. The Sorting Hat did not ponder her sorting at all, he almost spat out the answer before he was placed on her head. While at school Helena was known for getting into fights with some of the other children particularly when she believed they were doing things that were not acting in a just manner. Helena excelled at Defense Against the Dark Arts and was a Dueling Champion during her time at the school. She graduated in the year 1860 where she was promptly engaged due to an arrangement made by her family.

She was married to a notable Lord of the muggle world despite his also being a wizard, "Lord Henry" as he was referred was born of nobility though his family was particularly friends with Helena's, once it was discovered that the family had produced another 'wizard' (the family had produced a few in the past but not enough for them to live completely in the wizarding world) they quickly arranged for a marriage with someone 'like' their son. Thus Helena became 'Lady Helena'. Lord Henry was well known throughout the Ministry due to his particular interaction with Muggles, he and his wife are particularly known for their muggle rights campaigns and their stance on anti-muggle treatment. Lord Henry was even granted a position within the Ministry as a liaison between the ministry and the muggle government and while Lady Helena was not a member of the Ministry of Magic, she did influence her Husband on many matters.

Throughout her life Helena had been known for her valiant efforts in many Muggle wars, she would often react to situations on impulse despite the obvious dangers. She would often disguise herself as a male and fight along the front lines with the rest of the muggles, when doing this she did not use any magic and so, had to learn how to fight in the muggle way. She would often get injured and would use magic only when necessary and if she knew she wouldn't get caught, she was thought 'dead' by the muggles on several occasions only to slip away and take on another persona. She was also known for her work as a Nurse throughout the wars again using magic to help soldiers that were injured in the line of duty but only when she knew she could get away with it, though she was skilled at muggle medicine and on several occasions saved lives by using her skills in that field.

A few significant moment in her life was when she heard of a Vampire sect of sorts haunting, or attacking, a township in her county. They were lead by a Vampire known by the muggles as Edgar the Drainer whom had several vampires under his command. Despite the warnings, Lady Helena quickly left to the township and after ten nights defeated several of the Vampires including Edgar while warding off the rest. In another time a group of hags was forcing all the men in a nearby county to fall in love with them by the use of 'love potions', Lady Helena stood up to this group of Hags and by using her logic and quick wits managed to free the young men and send the Hags away without a fight. These events among others brought about her title "the Brave".

Her final act of bravery was one of love. Her husband managed to make himself a few enemies in the Ministry and they saw fit for him to no longer exist. One night, she noticed a small band of Ministry members approaching their Manor, which would be ordinary had their wands not been drawn. Helena quickly fled to warn her Husband, acknowledging that the two of them were no match for the group of witches and wizards. However, in the middle of warning him the group entered their chamber and began launching the Killing Curse at her husband in an attempt at assassination. Her Husband attempted to apparate both of them out of the house, but Helena knew that it would be too late. Instead of allowing her husband to die, she moved in front of him, taking the spell and allowing him to escape in time.

Fearful of what death held, and a death without loved ones no less, Helena chose to stay on earth. She stayed with her husband and for a time was happy as he went into hiding, but this happiness was short 'lived' as he was soon found again, and finally murdered. Now, without any family left in England and her husband choosing not to stay on Earth as a ghost she changed her haunting place to New Zealand where family had gone to fight in the "New Zealand land wars". Once they too had all passed she haunted nonsensical places until invited to be a House Ghost at Hogwarts New Zealand. Helena was twenty-five years old at death.
