Andy had just managed to enter the owlery for the first time in what seemed like years. She had cast the silencio spell on the birds so that their squawking wouldn't disturb anyone else. As soon as she had attached her letter for her mother and another for Essie to one of the school owls she left. After releasing them from the spell she descended the steps of the owlery to head back to the school when an unfamiliar screech echoed overhead. Looking up she had to duck evasively as a blackish looking owl flew low and dropped a letter and package to her. Slowly retrieving it she glanced momentarily at the envelope before then looking at the package. Continuing to move down the steps she sat down on the last one and first opened the package.
It was a copy of the Daily Prophet, she opened it and read through a few pages wondering why in the world anyone would want to send her on this when she came to the obituaries. There was a piece on her uncle and another about her step-father.She was disgusted that the prophet failed to acknowledge all the relatives her uncle had back in Ireland, just because they were muggles didn't mean they didn't exist. He was survived by his mother and his several brothers and sisters. His nieces and nephews were many but they only seemed to have enclosed those of magic descent.
With a sigh she folded the paper and looked at the envelope, opening it slowly she began to read.
