Calgary, Alberta. When he was five, his parents divorced. At seven, his mom remarried to Julian Parrish, and they had two children together, Anni and Cord. Kade's father remarried when he was ten to Rebecca Durant. Rebecca had a daughter, Caroline, from a previous relationship who is five years younger than Kade. While his mother had primary custody of him, he did spend lots of time with his father's family as well.
After high school, Kade went to the University of Alberta-Edmonton where he graduated with a degree in
Wildlife and Conservation Sciences. He then moved to Jasper, Alberta where he worked for a local lodge
leading various outdoor activities/excursions, including camping, hiking, fishing, and skiing.
When he was 28, his wealthy, oil tycoon grandfather (mom's father) died, dividing his wealth among his
five grandchildren (Kade, his two half-siblings, and two cousins). Coming into such a large
inheritance, Kade decided to take advantage of the opportunity and left Canada to go
backpacking around the world. Kade can often be found grabbing a beer in a pub
after completing his daily adventures, and he is an avid fan of the Calgary Flames hockey team.
Once traveling is done, he'll likely find a favorite location and set up an adventuring shop
where he can continue to guide people on adventures and share his love of the outdoors.
