Daisy and Lief are wonderful to the couple and very happy for them. As long as Julie makes Tristan happy, they are willing to over look the fact that she is not magical in the least -- and find it to be hilarious that Tristan finally settled down and got married with a muggle woman. The fact that they were all Death Eaters at one point (to varying degrees) and despised those who were not magical makes this all the more funny to them, and Julie just that much more special.

Julie Bennett was born in Appleton, Wisconsin. Her parents were thrilled. They had not expected to have a child, let alone a little girl that would make their heart melt. They had lost a number of children to miscarriage before Julie was born, and they were ecstatic that they finally had a child to call their own.

Julie was a stellar student through her school years, graduating at the top of her class from high school. She went on to University where she received a degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics. She taught high school algebra and geometry for ten years after graduation. Teaching at the high school is where she met Michael Sullivan. Sure, Julie had boyfriends here and there, but no one really had caught her eye like Michael. He was another teacher at the school, in the English department. They soon moved in together and were very happy. Julie discovered she was pregnant and both were elated! However their happiness was not to last. Michale was on his way to work one morning, Julie having the day off for a prenatal doctors appointment, when he was involved in a fatal car accident. Julie was devastated. She had no idea what to do. For a short time, she moved back home to her parents home, but then realized that she just could not handle that. Soon after Eliza was born, she found a duplex to rent and moved into one side of the place.

Julie took a leave of absence from work to care for Eliza, planning to go back to work when she was ready to enter school herself. Then she met Tristan Drage. Well, at the time she thought that his name was Ethan Mallard. He and his son, Erik, move into the other half of the duplex and they became friends. Soon, that friendship grew into something more and they began to date. The four of them made a very cute little family when they would go out and about. Everything was going well with them until Julie's cousin's kids came to visit. She had been to Minnesota to see her cousin, Carl, and the rest of the family a few months back. Carl's sister, Lorelei, had left her daughter, Estrella, to him to be raised. She was off at some fancy private school in New Zealand that her father's family insisted that she attend. Julie thought that it was a bit odd, that suddenly the family of the father was involved, but that was up to Carl to deal with.

Estrella and her friend, Lily, came for a visit to Minnesota during the summer of 2021. Luke, Carl's oldest child, made the suggestion that they go over to Wisconsin for a few days to visit with Julie. The girls had no problem with the idea and the trip was planned. Soon after arriving, all hell broke loose. Everyone was out in the backyard playing and getting ready to grill out when Erik came out to play. Estrella thought the boy looked a bit like her half-brother, but not having seen him in a while, thought no more of it. When "Ethan" came out, he spotted Estrella and froze. Julie ran over, not realizing anything was wrong, and invited him for dinner. Estrella flipped out when she saw her father and the truth came out about Tristan. Julie was livid and forbade Tristan from contacting her, which he ignored. He had fallen for the muggle woman, and was ready to do just about anything to make up to her. Before too long, Estrella and her father came to terms, and eventually she encouraged Julie to allow Tristan to explain. The explanation was harder than either of them realized, but once everything was settled, they were able to admit their love for one another and became engaged. They quickly eloped, not wanting to waste another minute apart from each other.

Julie was whirled into the world of magic and never looked back. Her only regret was that she was not able to perform her own magic, or that Eliza would be able to as she grew. She was soon taken on vacation to meet her sibling-in-laws in Australia and they got along wonderfully. She found out more about Tristan's past as they went along, and was accepting of the fact that he was not perfect. Estrella was astonished and angry that her father married her mother's cousin. Julie did her best to try to smooth things over, but the girl was beyond her reach at this point. She let her go, knowing eventually she will come around and realize the couple was meant to be. This is true love and no one was going to come between them.

In April of 2022, Julie and Tristan found out they were expecting their first child together, a little girl they named Evan. While Julie was pregnant, Tristan was kidnapped by the mother of his child, Christian, that he recently had found out about. The child was the product of a one-night stand with Thorine Dolohov. She drugged him with a love potion and convinced him that she was the woman he was in love with, not Julie. In her eyes, Julie was merely a muggle and nothing better than dirt. Eventually, Tristan was able to escape and came back to his true love, just after their child was born.

The family moved to Canada, where they were able to procure jobs working at a hospital. Their youngest child, Elijah, was born on February 29th, 2024, completing their family.
