History: Joshua has never been married. He did come close with Cloe Lestrange. They lived together for a few years before she disappeared. Joshua was away on 'assignment' that took longer than expected. When he returned, he found that Cloe had left him. He tried to track her down for years before finally finding her 11 years later in New Zealand. They have a son together named Blake. Joshua did not know of Blake's existence until finding Cloe again. Both Cloe and Blake had disappeared without word of where they were going shortly after Blake and Josh discovered they were father and son. Josh still has no idea why she took off, but now Blake has returned and he and his girlfriend, Lily Potter, spent the majority of their holidays with him at his apartment on the beach. After the pair broke up, he tried to help Blake through the heartbreak. No matter what the relationship between the two kids, he would always have a soft spot for Lily, seeing as she married into his extended family.
The majority of Josh's immediate family are deceased. He no longer speaks with his parents, as they do not approve of the path that he has chosen with his life. He is a distant cousin of the Drage family, and relates more to them than his remaining immediate family.
Josh is best friends with Tristan Drage. They connected back at Hogwarts when they were in the same house. He is also Tristan's daughter Estrella's Godfather.
