History:
John was born and raised on the icy peaks of the Rocky Mountains, his parents geologists who worked right out of their home. Growing up in the harsh temperature helped him build up a love of anything cold. His parents both spent as much time as they could with him, but with work factored in, it wasn't much. It was made worse when they wouldn't believe his stories of the ice and snow moving around when he felt angry, sad, or even happy. Learning to keep mostly to himself, he spent most of his time climbing icy rock faces even though he wasn't supposed to, and studying the rocks themselves. It was only when the letter came from Hogwarts that he finally understood why he seemed so alone.
