Jogging

[Maria Granger]

Maria felt very sluggish, so she decided to jog along the beach below the cliffs. She put her headphones in, and played her favorite tune. As soon as she started to run, it felt amazing, the wind in her hair, the sand beneath her feet, she felt very energetic.

 

[Claude Harris]

Claude was sitting is the sand, wearing his shirt untucked, his wand in his hand, and his pants rolled up. He dipped his bare feet in the water and closed his eyes, and took in the breeze. Now that school is almost here, and I am unpacked, I can relax, thought Claude. He ended his thought by closing his eyes and letting out a sigh of happiness. H heard music from the background, and he turned around only to se his good friend Maria jogging with her headphones in. He put his wand in his pocket and stood up. When tapping Maria on the shoulder and jogging awkwardly along side her, "Uh... Maria... Hello?"

Maria stopped and turned to see Claude beside her. "hey Claude, I havent seen you in a while." She said breathlessly. "Lets sit." With that she sat in the sand. "I havent seen you since sorting, what house are you in?" she asked.

 

[Claude Harris]

Claude sat down next to Maria and said to her kindly, "So Maria! I overheard from some friends that you have a new man in your life," Claude said with no means to embarrass or offend her. "I heard he is a good looker too!" Claude said winking in a joking way. Claude laughed and remembered the silly Vlad and Kai drama Eleona had, and he splashed his feet in the water. "Ah the water is so pretty today," Claude said.

 

[Eleona Bexley]

Eleona smiled and ran past the pair, only to trip and fall flat on her face. In defeat, she scrambled back up and dusted off her clothes, "Hey~~~" She said cooly, then giggled.

 

[Hamza Khalid]

Hamza was taking a morning walk with 2 of his dorm mates when he saw Maria. Hamza said to his mates that he will catch up with them later and started to walk towards Maria. He saw two other individuals sitting next to Maria and thought who they were. He came up to Maria from behind, put his hands over her eyes and said, "Taking a morning jog I see, very good habit to have and good for the health as well." He then looked at the other two individuals and noticed one was a female and the other was a male. He had a thought in his mind that Maria told him about two of her other friends that she had met during sorting but hadn't seen them since, so he thought these two individuals might be her other friends.

Hamza then looked at other two students and said, "Who do we have here? How are you two doing? My name is Hamza. I take it you are Claude and you are Eleona? Maria has told me about you two, very nice to have finally met you guys. I'm Maria's boyfriend." Hamza went up to the two students and offered to shake their hands.

Maria blushed when Claude teased her about Hamza. ' Word sure gets around fast her.' She said with her infectious smile. As she was talking to Claude, Eleona dropped by. ' Im so glad to finally see you guys, it's been a while.' All of a sudden someone covered her eyes and she heard Hamza. She saw him introduce himself to the two. Maria wanted to see their reactions. ' So guys, this is Hamza, he wanted to meet you too for a while, it's great how it all worked out.' Maria said

 

[Claude Harris]

Claude stood up and shook Hamza's hand. "Yes I'm Claude! It's so good to finally meet you!" Claude winked at Maria obviously and comedically. He sat down next too Eleona and picked her off the ground where she had face-planted. Claude sat back down in the water and said, "How did you two lovies meet? Rumor has it it was at a body of water quite similar to this!" Claude smiled and looked up to Hamza. "Oh how rude oh me, I forgot! What house were you sorted into?" Claude said in an attempt to be as friendly and inviting as possible, which he wasn't so much with Eleona's arranged husband.

 

[Eleona Bexley]

"Claude... You gossip too much." Eleona lightly karate chopped his head, "Anyway~ Nice to meet you Hamza! And yes, I am the one, the only, Eleona." She raised an eyebrow, "Hm. Maria I think we have different tastes in guys, and it's a good thing. I like 'im." Eleona shuddered remembering the incedent with Kai and Vlad, "...Has anyone heard from Vlad lately? I didn't get to see him at sorting and I'm starting to get worried."

 

[Hamza Khalid]

Hamza came and sat next to Maria and then started to talk to Claude. Hamza then said, "It's good to meet you too mate. Seems you have been sorted into Ravenclaw judging by the color of your under shirt." Hamza seemed to like Claude, he was courteous, but a very curious person indeed, asked a lot of question. Hamza thought Claude was hungry for knowledge just as much as he was and giggled a little bit when looking back at Maria. He looked back at Claude and said, "Well, you are right, it was near a lake, we just started to talk, just got to know each other and then just went from there. We have a lot in common and care about each other a lot, so that's what really brought us together. Have you got a girlfriend or you looking for one?"

After asking Claude that question, he faced Eleona and said, "Haha, I don't like gossip much. It's nice to meet you too Eleona." He then noticed that Eleona was talking about some Vlad guy and then replied, "I'm sure this Vlad guy is fine. Hogwards is just a big place that it's might take some time before you get to see him. Everyone is just in a hassle to get everything ready, get all their supplies and stuff together. Don't worry, you'll eventually run into him." With that said, Hamza went next to Claude and said, "So how's the water? Mind if I sit next to you and take a little dig in the water as well?"

 

[Claude Harris]

Claude looked up at Hazma and said, "Oh sure! No problem! And was the hit in the head really necessary Eleona? After 9 years of friendship, you would THINK she would've stop hitting me and gotten a stress doll, but alas, I still loose brain cells over her angry fists." Claude looked up at Eleona and batted his eyes in a sarcastic way. "You know whats funny, and you can ask Maria this, at first I was very shy and awkward, but now, the more social I get, the less I fear of embarrassment. When Maria first ran into me at the three broomsticks, all I would do was sip every time I blushed or got embarrassed, but now, thanks to my friends, I feel better!" Claude smiled as he splashed his feet in the water. The sea breeze was intoxicating, and Claude loved it.

Maria smiled at Hamza and Claude just talking away. She was glad to see that Claude was more comfortable with everything going on. Maria turned to Eleona and said in a serious tone ' Wouldnt it be best if you not see Vlad, I don't want ur father to do somethingdrastic to stop u two from seeing each oter.' she knew Eleona really liked Vlad but she didn't want anyone to get hurt. Maria saw a bug crawling on her leg and quickly flicked it off. ' Thats what I get for wearing shorts' She said.

 

[Eleona Bexley]

"If getting me a husband isn't drastic I don't know what is." Eleona giggled, "Kai's wonderful, so I'm perfectly content. I just want to know if Vlad's ok or not." She smiled and splashed her feet in the water, then fell in, "Dang it! Today is not my day!!" She got out, and growled to herself. Even though she was a swimmer, she hated getting wet when in regular clothes. Even moreso, the wind was chilly, and it just added onto the discomfort.
