Originally a Coconut Wand 14 1/4" Essence of Star Dust, which Jessy broke after graduating Hogwarts in Scotland.

Appearance
Hair: Black hair, often with small streaks of blonde or other colours, usually with bangs and rocking the "I-just-woke-up-like-this" messy bed-hair.
Eyes: Dark brown.
Height: 5'2"
Style: Either very basic dark jeans-and-tee, or heavily layered outfits, elements of grunge mixed with with traditional witch (cloaks and hoods) or "muggle halloween" aesthetic.
A Little Deeper
Jessy spends a lot of time daydreaming, she is fascinated by the differences, similarities, and connections between the muggle world and the wizarding world. However she has struggled to find her place in the world, not fully comfortable when surrounded by magic, but unable to fully be herself in the muggle world due to having to tiptoe around the statute of secrecy.
While growing up, Jessy always knew her muggle mother loved having a Wizard as a husband, the convenience of having magic in the household, and knowing a secret that people like her weren't generally supposed to know. Jessy always knew her mother didn't really love her father, but she always saw them try to make things work, up until Jessy started Hogwarts herself.
When she came home from her second year she was excited to share all of the wonderful experiences she'd had. Jessy found her mother's attitude towards magic had changed - she no longer loved her lifestyle of being a muggle in the magical world - but she was now viciously envious that Jessy had been born with her fathers abilities, and got to go to Hogwarts. Over the course of three weeks, this attitude shift had broken Jessy's entire family in half, and her father whisked her off to finish her schooling at Hogwarts in Scotland, leaving her mother and her two younger but apparently non-magical sisters in New Zealand.
This caused Jessy to develop a hatred towards magic, and she struggled to keep out of trouble at Hogwarts. She never got her apparation license, and apart from catching the Hogwarts Express to and from school she outright refused to use any other magical forms of transport. The only subject she really excelled at was Muggle Studies.
To this day Jessy's magical abilities remain below average. She only came home after finishing School to make a scene in front of her Father- melodramatically breaking her own wand, and denouncing magic. She fled, and hid in a small muggle village, where she lived as a muggle two and a half years.
Jessy is a talented singer, guitar player, and songwriter. While living as a muggle, she and her two best friends at the time attempted to start a celtic rock band, but couldn't manage to break out beyond performing weekly at the local pub on Thursday evenings.
After accidentally crossing paths with her father again at the age of 20, Jessy admitted she had worked through enough of her issues in her own mind and it was time for her to allow magic back into her life again. She bought a new wand, and moved back in with her father, who for the most part left Jessy to do her own thing. He never asked Jessy anything about the years she spent out in the world on her own, and neither of them ever made a real effort to form any real connection.
Jessy remained living with her father, working various retail jobs (both magical and non-magical) writing music and occasionally busking when she felt the urge to perform. She spent a lot of her time reading and watching movies, thoroughly devouring any muggle media that portrayed what non-magical people believed to be "magical" , and kept her magic use to an absolute minimum.
While Jessy has now grown up and lost a lot of the physical energy she had in her youth, she is still a big kid at heart. She can be very playful and mischievous at times, but she can also become very withdrawn and internalizes her problems instead of dealing with them.
Now.
Jessy recently left her fathers house after a disagreement. She had almost no one in Scotland, so her last hope was to finally take the leap and return to New Zealand. She didn't know whether or not she was ready to find her mother, but in the back of her mind she knew what she was going to do - She was going to contact her childhood best friend, Kyle Alcott.
