Elly knew if she wanted to play next game she had to be checked out by an official hospital wing staff. She had never been to the wing before, she knew some minor healing spells for scrapes and bruises, but this was bigger. She had been hit twice by a nasty bludger hit by the Captain of the Slytherin team. Elly couldn't deny that the beater had a good aim. Her side and left shoulder hurt like hell at the moment. Isaac the teams beater had also advised going to the wing and although she loved to suffer in silence in a corner with a book she knew she wasn't getting away with this.

Elly walked into the hospital wing and sat on an empty bed. Ravenclaw had won the game and the euphoric feeling had numbed her pain. That feeling was only slowly going away and the pain was erupting in full force in both her side and shoulder. Keepers weren't supposed to be targeted, they mainly shot for the seeker of the team.

After one of Sophie's best friends had taken a bit of a beating on the quidditch pitch, Isaac had advised his teammate to head to Hospital Wing, a place he was unsurprisingly finding himself at more frequently this year. Fortunately for him though his visits were down the being on the opposite end of an injury, as much was the case now as he opened the door for the fourth year, and wandered across before taking a seat in a spare chair beside the bed she'd chosen to sit on. He'd forgotten how much damage one of the iron balls could do, and as a beater himself a small part of him was feeling a little guilty, although they were there to protect their team as well as send the balls back in the opposite direction.

A year ago he wouldn't have dreamed to step out of his comfort zone, and while being here with someone he didn't talk to wasn't the easiest thing he'd ever done, but he knew if he wanted to improve he was going to need to make a slightly larger effort to both make friends, and get used to empathising with patients. No doubt one of the nurses would be over when they were available, but for now Isaac would just do his best to keep her company. "Seems you were the bludger magnet out there," he gave her a small nervous one sided smile. Even if she hadn't been the Slytherin's target, Elizabeth seemed to have found her way in front of the most dangerous ball of the game.

Elly wiggled on the bed, she wasn't very fond of hospital even though her dad worked in the emergency department of the Auckland City Hospital. Then again why would someone be a fan of hospitals. They usually meant extra pain, but that didn't mean a lot now she was already in quiet a lot of pain. Elly knew it Leda had to come her too, so the nurses would probably be busy already. Isaac was sitting in the chair next to her which made the wait doable.

When he commented that she had been the bludger magnet Elly smiled. Laughing wasn't nice with her rib situation at the moment. ''The Slytherin Seeker was loved by the balls as well, but I think the Slytherin captain doesn't like me'' Elly knew she probably accidentally hit her twice. It wasn't really useful to get the keeper out of the game. It could only give the other team a time out which could be useful to get Leda back to a more healthier state. 'You don't have to stay with me if you have betters things to do.'' Elly didn't want to claim Sophie her boyfriend, he had probably lots of better things to do. ''I can suffer in silence if needed'' Elly smiled, she knew Isaac from the team and Sophie had told parts about him, but she still didn't really know him.

Isaac reply didn't know much about the existing pool of players, he was just lucky enough to know most of the names from his own team. He culdnt really help explain why the Slytherin girl had hit her but he could admit it was unusual. "Well, it's Quidditch. Everyone going to get hit." He said dryly. Anyone who believed they were safe on a field of bludgers probably shouldn't be out there, although it was also the case that some were usually the targets more than others. Isaac shrugged at her comment. He did have things he needed to be doing but whether it beat getting in more experience at the hospital he wasn't sure. "I help out here sometimes. I follow one of the nurses." He admitted. Only Sophie and a few students he'd seen already knew about it, and while it still did feel strange to say out loud it would have been a lie to say he wasn't just a little proud of himself. "There's no need for that." He gave her a small smile, although didn't meet her eyes as he rose from his chair to stand beside her. "Here. It's this one right?" He asked, motioning towards one of her arms, before gently lifting it and adjusting her position, directing he to hold it in place with her other hand so the weight would be taken off her shoulder as it rested against her ribs instead. He didn't want to advise her to do anything that would make it worse, but he'd seen others do this and thought it might help a bit until someone with actual medicine could help her. "Just relax okay. You'll be fine." He added quietly, the most sincere and comforting thing that had ever left his mouth since joining the school, perhaps even longer, and he tried to ignore the pink tinge on his cheeks.

Well the keeper was usually the safest player of the team. They weren't in the way of bludgers they were just at the hoops. Somehow last game everyone missed and seemed to hit Elly, one more bludger and she would be out, but luckily for Elly the game ended before the third one could be hit. Although bludgers did hurt they made the game exciting and fun. When Isaac said he followed one of the nurses Elly smiled that sounded awesome. ''That sounds so cool'' It truly was, Elly worked in the magicial manegerie which was awesome, but she could only work in the holidays. Isaac was truly nice he even lay her arm into a more comfortable position. Elly smiled ''What made you want to work here?'' Elly could guess some reasons, but she wanted to hear his reason.
