[History:] Ivan was born Simon Smith Jr to Simon Smith Sr and Josephine Smith a few minutes before his twin brother, Thomas Smith. Although while still in the hospital he was kidnapped by two Death Eaters who had been wronged by his father, who was an Auror, as payback. Ivan grew up in a very strict household, believing that he was a Pureblood and grew up with a pride that came from having a Death Eater supremist father. He attended Durmstrang and excelled in the Dark Arts. It was here that he met Aiden Lorka who became a mentor and friend to the young boy who became a hit with the ladies early on in his school career.

On one of their holidays before Ivan's second year he visited Aiden at his home in New Zealand and it was here that his life was turned upside down. After finding a new conquest for the day or two that he would be in New Zealand, Joceline Richard, he found out that he had a twin brother. After this he met his birth mother, his birth father had died a few years previous, and started to live with her. If he had had his way Ivan wouldn't have moved in with her but after a legal case and with his parents been thrown in Azkaban for their crime he had no choice. He was allowed to keep his name and still attend Durmstrang but returned to New Zealand during the holidays.

It began to feel normal for Ivan and he even grew to enjoy his family, so much so that when he graduated he and Thomas got their own flat together with a semi regular house guest, Joceline - the girl he made out with the day he found out about Thomas and now one of his closest friends after a few years of an open relationship which started to get back at Thomas as Joceline had feelings for him that Thomas never returned. After graduation Ivan got a place on the Vratsa Vultures Quidditch Team as a Beater and to him, his life is perfect right now.
