If something could've gone terribly wrong, it just had. Little
Kiara had been sorted in the evil which was Slytherin house.
She had never expected that to happen. Kiara had always tried
to pride herself on how kind she could be, but perhaps that was
not the reality. In fact Kiara was close to believing that it was
some serect ploy, to make her "true colours" become clear.
Suffice to say, they were. Kiara's true colours were forever
turning green. She felt like she didn't have to hold back. She
didn't like to be mean, but Slytherin now meant she could be
if she felt like it. She couldn't believe at times that her father
and mother had prided their little girl, on the fact that she was
kind and helpful. That her hair flowed like a veela's and that her
blue eyes could draw in any stranger. That her smile was perfect.
Kiara had hated that her parents had prided themselves more on
how Kiara looked than how she really was. Kiara for this reason,
was almost very pleased with her slytherin sorting. Of course, she
had watched her only friend be sorted in the other house. Hufflepuff.
Little Hufflepuff house. As lame as the word hard working. Kiara
had still not found her brother, she had no idea where he would be.
And for now, Kiara did not even care. She was happy to just go on.
To pretend that she was Kiara Tine, Only child, to a rich couple.
A little spoiled child, with a slightly inflated sense of her own importance.
Kiara had started the year well, she was not really speaking to many
and was for the time, spending her spare hours wondering around the
school, wondering what she could do to spend the amount of free time
she now had. There was no packing and unpacking. No long haul flights
and the sudden change of house. She was happy to just be at school.
She could make friends. She could be herself, instead of just a girl in the
shadows, who moved like each little thing in world was outstandingly
beautiful. In short Kiara was ready to try out Living life. Instead of being
instructed to live. Kiara wore a strange smile. Like a grin. Like she'd done
something wrong. But it was something very funny. Kiara had yet to do
something wrong. But, she had a smile. Kiara was in a very simple outfit.
All things she had brought over from England. All items of clothing a lot
more suited to a warmer time of year. Her lack of jumper or thick item
of clothing, showed a difference in Kiara. She had always been the girl
who dressed politely. But today, she was anything but polite. She wore
a pair of ruffled denim shorts and a floral print ruffled silk top. She had a
flower hair band which held in place her long brown hair, now worn a little
more messily than before. It was all part of Kiara's new style. No longer
would she act completely prim and proper. The eleven year old girl was
ready to mix things up a little. It would be a good break from what she
was really pretending to be. Kiara was outside, heading towards, an area
of the school, that was forbidden. before if the word forbidden had
crossed Kiara's path she would've stayed pretty far away, but Kiara was
feeling in the need for an adventure, so she was going to go. It wasn't
a terrible rule to break. She had heard everyone went to the cliffs.Even
the goody Hufflepuffs and the lets-ruin-everything Ravenclaws. Kiara could
feel the cold morning air against her skin. She had goosebumps, but it didn't
bother her. She could put up with a little coldness. Kiara walked and walked
until she reached the absolute edge of the cliff. She kicked at the grass as
as looked over the edge. far to fall Her mind spoke. Kiara looked around
and then took a seat. She sat down upon the ground and just looked out.
Unsure of what to do now, she had broken the supposed and poorly
enforced rule.
