Infinite Possibilities

Hogwarts Castle seemed to hold many secrets and Aaron couldn't wait to figure them all out, both inside the castle and outside in the grounds. However, today, he decided that he would explore the tallest tower and see what or who he would find. The thing Aaron loved the most about Hogwarts was how busy it was all the time. It reminded him of being at home and being able to see or speak to someone always, no matter the time. He suspected that the North Tower would be empty but it was still worth exploring anyway.

Quite out of breath, he reached the top of the North Tower and leaned against the open window. The wind was refreshing, blowing his long hair out of his face. Both the power of the wind and the view from the top of the tower almost took his breath (the one he had just got back) away.

Even though Merrill wasn't a fan of climbing the many staircases at Hogwarts she absolutely loved the view from the tops of the various towers. She could see the entire grounds, and even farther out. New Zealand was such a beautiful country, and she loved getting a bird's eye view of it. As she made it to the very top of the steps Merrill was breathing heavily. Thank Merlin it wasn't as bad as the first few times. I swear next year when I bring my broom I'm never taking the stairs again. Merrill promised herself. When she allowed herself to open her eyes she saw that her tower was currently occupied by someone else. I am not climbing a whole new set of stairs. We can share. As she couldn't see the students face Merrill assumed it was a girl from the long blowing hair. She didn't quite recognize her though. Merrill walked up behind the student, and tapped them on the shoulder. "Mind if we share the window?" The young witch asked.​

Aaron was too wrapped up in the euphoric feeling of the wind on his face that he hadn't noticed that somebody had climbed up the tower and joined him. A small voice coming from behind him made him jump out of his skin. He turned around clutching his chest "You scared the bejeesus out of me!" he exclaimed. "But yeah, sure... you can join me if you like?" he said to the girl who appeared to be a fellow Gryffindor. He turned back to face the window "im Aaron, by the way" he said introducing himself.
