I'm so sorry!

Mei-Ling was extremely saddened by what she was doing right now. She didn't want to leave, but there was not much else that she could do. Her father was leaving, so she had to leave as well. Despite the fact that she was going to miss everyone, she just couldn't stay. She would miss one person in particular, most of all. "I'm sorry, Ruben! There's nothin' I can do!" Mei-Ling said again, as she threw another shirt over her shoulder and into the suitcase. Her father was already moving most of the other stuff out of the house, so she only had herself to worry about. "It's not like I want to leave, Ruben! I have too! Daddy is moving out!" Mei-Ling continued to try and step away from the girl she considered to be her best friend, but she found that she was having trouble moving. As she looked down, she realised that her bestfriend and sister, was wrapped around her legs, crying. It was a strange sight, considering Mei was not especially tall, so she didn't have much leg from the ground.

Mei-Ling sighed and tried to pry Ruben off, but she just wouldn't budge. "Ruben! Please let me go!" Mei-Ling was really trying not to cry, but she wasn't exactly succeeding. Things were not going the way she would have liked. Her father calling her name alerted her to the urgentness of this occasion. Tears streamed down her face as she fell to the ground and pulled Ruben into a hug. She whispered into Ruben's ear. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry."​
