Usually, when Leo Shephard went for a run, he went the long way around, avoiding the horrible Bleak Street at all costs in attempt to get himself fitter, and also to avoid any trouble. But today, Leo was tired, and felt rather lazy, so was cutting through Bleak Street to get out of Obsidian and through to the lovely place that they called Makutu.

Leo had been running for around 10 Minutes now and was a little out of breath, being so un-fit, so he stopped half-way down Bleak-Street and bent over, resting his hands on his knees as he caught his breath-back. Leo gazed around the rest of the street infront of him. He didn't particularly like the area, and didn't plan to hang-around once he had regained his energy. Leo just hoped that no un-wanted strangers were lurking around looking for trouble.

Usually, when he had nothing to do, Devlin would just stay at their manor, get some sleep, read some books, and probably, try to harass his younger siblings, yet at the moment, he was in no mood to return to the said house. He had had a fight with the youngest of the Howards and it was definitely not a pretty sight, he had almost tried to kill her, and well, that might be overdoing it, but that's just the way that he functions.

And so, having no place to go to, Devlin found his way to the Bleak street, a place famously known for its association with dark arts, somewhere that he would often go to just to have some fun. Devlin had always been fascinated with such things, and it was no secret either, for even his older brother was into such art. Getting out of The Silver Snake, Devlin caught sight of a young man, probably older than him, who was currently trying to catch his breath. Smirking to himself at the pathetic look of the said man, Devlin continued on his way, purposely bumping unto him without even caring if he had somehow hurt the said man or not.

Leo wasn't amused when a guy walked into him. It wasn't all that dark yet, and Leo had spotted the guy look at him just a few seconds a guy. Leo fell backwards but was quick to get back up again as the guy appeared not to care. He followed the guy along the street, he couldn't stand it when people acted so rudely with no reason to. "It's okay, there's no need to apologize...you didn't just knock me over or anything..." Leo told the guy in a frustrated tone, quite put-out by the fact that this guy was being so rude. There was no need for it, and the least he could do to make up for it was apologize. But Leo had this feeling that somehow this guy wasn't planning on apologizing. Leo waited for the guy to respond as he stood, arms folded, around a meter behind the guy.

Devlin had had to smirk when he heard the guy talking behind him, he knew it, he just knew that he would come and ask him to apologize, most people do that. Most people would go out of their way just so they would feel that they were important, just so they wouldn't be inferior to others. "Is that so? Then why are you still talking to me if I don't have to apologize then?" He said, his voice mocking as he turned around to fully face the said guy, maybe his day would become interesting then, if only this guy is smart enough to not mess with him.

Leo got annoyed at guys with this kind of attitude. There was no need for it as far as Leo was concerned. "You know what I meant..." Leo paused as he realised that this guy wasn't going to say sorry however much he tried to convince him to. "But whatever.....if you're gonna be like that." Leo headed as if to walk past the guy, purposely crashing his shoulder into Devlin's as he began to walk off. Knowing that would probably spark a reaction, Leo walked slowly away, expecting the guy to start up an argument, or if he was really unlucky, a fight. But Leo was prepared, he'd be ready, even if that only meant defending his self-pride.

Devlin grew irritated when the guy had just started to head of and crashed his shoulder unto him, just like what he had done before. "What the h3ck are you playing at?" He said flatly, though his voice was cold and sharp. If this guy wanted to have some argument or fight, then he was definitely up to it, it might have been something that could probably entertain him by then, he need not mind whether he'll get any serious injuries or any wounds, so long as he can show this guy not to mess with a Howard like him.

"What am I playing at?" He asked the guy angrily. "You're the one with no manners...and no eye-sight too by the looks of things..." He said, trying to sound tough and hard, but really failing to. Leo was a massive softy at heart. Leo started to walk towards the guy. "A guy comes up to you starts pushing you round." Leo did such actions as he spoke them. "Then she shoves past you...doesn't even say sorry then walks off...yeah you wouldn't stand for that would you?" Leo decided to wind him up now. He was seeing if the guy would actually have the guts to start the fight himself; Nine out of Ten guys didn't, but Leo had the feeling that he might just have pushed this guy one step too far...

Of course, this guy that Devlin had just encountered seemed to be the type to hold such high principles, one who wouldn't let their dignity and pride to be stepped on it seemed, and for Devlin, it was rare to actually met that type of guy, usually, others would just back down and just leave him alone, but this guy, well, he had the guts to actually stay and talk back to him. It made it seemed to be more fun for him, someone that he could play with and messed with had willingly appeared right here at the perfect time when he was bored. "So you're picking a fight, aren't you? you want me to apologize? Is that what you want? Keep dreaming" He said, smirking as he stood proudly in front of the said guy, he wanted to see how far this guy would go, if he would actually deliver the first punch, or if he would just say nothing and just set off on his way, either way, he didn't care, he could easily take this guy on if he wanted a fight, and he could easily insult him as well if he would be so much of a coward to actually run away now.

Leo knew this was leading to a physical fight, and of course that wasn't what he wanted, but he couldn't just walk away now. Once again, Leo had made a mess of things, there was nothing new there. "Yes.....I want you to apologize you idiot...and I'm not leaving until you do..." Leo could've kicked himself for saying that, he had just given himself a reason to stay, and that wasn't his intention. Leo wasn't going to start the fight, he was a lover not a fighter, but he got the feeling that things were gradually heading into a full-on punch-up.

"Apologize? How stupid can you be?" Devlin scoffed, raising an eyebrow as that ever arrogant smirk appeared on his face in doing so. "Never in your entire lifetime... go ask another person for an apology, don't mess with me." Devlin never did apologize, no one in his family had ever did, yes, they were just too arrogant to ever say that word. Sorry was something that didn't really exist in his vocabulary, he deemed it to be unnecessary to say such thing. "I don't care if you wouldn't leave, you can here until you rot to death if you want to."

The constant reminder of apologizing messed with Leo's mind as it suddenly hit him that he would be doing a lot of apologizing to Chloe, his beloved girlfriend pretty soon. What did he cheat for? It had done nothing but make his life hell. A new side of Leo was shown as the guy spoke his last sentence. He threw a punch with his right hand, straight into the guys cheek bone and regretted it straight away as his arm followed through. He hadn't intended to hit anyone when he came out tonight, and immediately Leo knew that he was in for a beating now. But the thoughts of having cheated on Chloe were racking his brain with guilt, and this guy had pushed Leo past the line of guilt and into a frustrated territory. Leo didn't reply to the guys witty comments after the punch, he just ignored him, hoping he wouldn't go home too badly bruised.

Devlin had never really expected that the guy would deliver the first blow, he was quite taken back by it that he had not really been able to dodge the said punch. Spatting out crimson speckles of blood, he glared at the said guy, having that murderous look on his face once more. Devlin wasn't really that fond of any physical fights or so, but he's also definitely the type of guy who would just let something pass without getting his revenge. And so, without any warning or any word being spoken, he grappled the guy by the collar, striking him with his bare knuckles in the face several times. Devlin was not one to let anyone step on him, he didn't like being undermined at all, and of course, he had always the need to feel superior at all times.

Leo almost expected a beating, but it still shocked him when he was suddenly being held up by the collar and punched in the face several times. Yeah it hurt Leo, and his nose was now bleeding thick red blood, but that didn't stop him. He kneed the guy in the stomach forcefully, before escaping his entrapment and grabbing the guy by the hair and throwing him to the ground. Leo wiped away the blood that was pouring from his nose and was now reaching his lips. He sniffed it in then waited for Devlin's reaction as he recovered from the pain of the punches.

Devlin was almost sure that he would receive a punch or a kick in return after what he had just delivered to the guy, but even so, he didn't really expect that to be that soon. After all, he was used to those students back at school who would just run away out of fear of him. He was used to those guys who would beg for his mercy, so meeting this guy was quite a change for him, and believe it or not, he was quite pleased with it even though the irritation that he was feeling was overpowering that light feeling. Shaking his head as he stood up from being thrown unto the ground, he glared at the said guy. He took a step back, sliding his shoe back before swinging it into motion to make contact with his victim's face before he threw another punch at him.

Leo watched as the guy rose to his feet again. He spotted his foot moving and almost managed to dodge his flying kick. However, it still skimmed his cheek and the side of the guy's shoes had scratched his face slightly. As he was recovering from the kick, Leo felt another punch to his face. Leo grabbed the guy by the t-shirt and lifted him up, before forcing him against the wall. Leo lowered the guy a little and kneed him once again in the stomach, but still keeping grip of him. He pulled viciously at the guys shirt before he literally dropped him to the ground. If he landed on his feet, then so be it, if not, then all the best to him.

It seemed like his first impression about this guy was wrong. He was definitely not weak. But even so, instead of being disappointed by what he had just discovered, Devlin cannot help but to feel a bit happy. It had been quite long since he had had this sort of fight with someone. It had been quite long since he had had felt this surge of excitement in his whole system. Of course, he was indeed hurt by what the guy had done to him, but even so, he didn't show it in his face. His expressions remained impassive, with only hatred shown. Smirking as he brushed himself of and straightened his clothes out, he glared at the said guy before he threw him another punch, this one was much stronger than the one that he had just thrown before. And without any second thought, he followed it with another kick. He then grabbed the guy by the collar and jab him in the stomach the way that he had done to him earlier. It was actually quite a shock that no one had interfered with them yet. But even so, he was quite enjoying this fun that he was having right now.

Leo keeled over as he felt a hard blow to his stomach, the punch in the face had hurt, but not as much as this. But Leo soon recovered and stood back up-right. He scowled at the guy before charging at him and rugby tackling him to the ground. Leo hit the ground hard, with the guy beneath him. He sat himself up, before he knelt on the guys chest and tightly wrapped his hands around the guys throat. Leo had never been such a fury drawn guy before now, but this guy, along with Leo' own problems, had set him off. And now, Leo wasn't quite sure how or when he was going to stop. As his hands remained clenched around the guys throat, Leo lifted his feet, so his knees dug into the guys ribs. This anger had been building up inside of Leo for ages now, and this guy was just unfortunate enough to say and do the wrong things at the wrong times.

As we have been doing so far, you can respond to this how you want to. Just thought I'd mention it now the fights getting even more physical. :) :p :)

It was took Devlin quite a while to actually processed that he was being trapped to the ground by this random guy that he had just encountered earlier. Yes, he was beaten up badly, and the guy was actually choking him, but even so, he decided not to show any weakness at all. That's just him, he would never give the guy the satisfaction of thinking that he had won over him. Devlin wasn't the type to just give in just because he was already hurting, he had experienced much more pain before, his older brother was much more aggressive than this guy, and much more, his older brother would not even hesitate to use magic against him. So this fight with this guy was just a cinch for him, though he was quite sure that once he get home, he'll get a lot of questionings from his siblings.

Recovering from the shock, he took hold of both the guy's hand that was currently wrapped in his throat, he was already finding it quite hard to breath, and he needed to get this guy of him. Mustering the strength to push the guy off, he gave him another punch before he grabbed the guy's shoulder and pushed him down to the ground as well, much harder than the way that the guy had tackled him before. Devlin was quite strong after all, and he was quite sure that if the guy was unlucky enough, he would have hit his head to the ground, but if not, then he could just give him another punch just to knock him out.

OOCOut of Character:
oh.. alright.. :D ...

Leo was taken by surprise as the guy punched him. His hands loosened for a second but soon tried to tighten back around Devlin's throat again, he didn't like this guy and would go to any length to see he was out of the way. That was when Devlin grabbed his shoulder. He was thrown back and smashed his head on the ground hard as he came flying backwards. But this didn't knock Leo out; yes he was seeing things in a slightly more blurry way than before, and yes his consciousness may have been wavering, but Leo refused to give-up until he couldn't move anymore. Leo slowly sat up, holding his head into position as his eyes began to focus again.

It was then that Leo felt the blood trickling down the back of his head. His hand shot to the wounded area and held it as he forced himself back onto his feet. Wiping the blood away, Leo swiped his hand back down to his side then kicked the guy forcefully in the stomach a numerous amount of times. But Leo, feeling slightly dizzy from earlier, lost his balance after several kicks and fell over Devlin and onto the ground backwards, once again hitting his head against the solid-ground. Leo lay barely conscious, he was still aware of what was around him, but he was having minor-blackouts before he would regain consciousness again. He lay on his back as he waited to feel Devlin's beatings again, maybe he'd be able to respond when the guy began the fight again.

OOCOut of Character:
Fail. :p

Seeing the blood trickling from the back of the guy's head, Devlin cannot help but to smirk. He just knew that sooner or later, the guy would eventually become unconscious, which means that, he had finally won, but even so, it also mean that, his source of entertainment would be gone. Though the guy had eventually started to kick him in the stomach, Devlin didn't give any care. Yes, he was hurt, but he was quite thankful that he had managed to block some of the guy's kicks, though some of it had hit him pretty hard. A malicious laugh escaped his lip as the guy lost his balance and feel hard on the ground.

"You're a weak." He said in a very arrogant manner as he placed his foot on top on th guy's chest, feeling superior that he was the one who was left standing. He didn't really care if the guy would stand back up again and fight, in fact, it would be better that way, at least, he would be able to show him that he had messed with a wrong person and that he can make the guy regret that he had ever crossed his path.

Leo's face scrunched up into an angry expression as the guy called him weak. He groaned as Devlin put a foot on his chest. Not having the breath or the energy to respond, Leo slowly moved his hands up to the guys foot, wrapping his hands around his ankle tightly before forcefully pulling it sideways, away from Devlin's other leg. Leo hoped that this would cause the guy to fall. Soon the actions became all too much for Leo's battered body, his arms dropped to the ground in fatigue and Leo struggled to keep his eyes open. He hoped this guy would stop the fight soon.

Devlin didn't really expect that the guy would respond to him that soon that he had been surprised when his foot had been pulled sideways, causing him to almost loose his balance, which would be really embarrassing and would be too out of character for him. Thankfully though, he had managed to at least keep himself from falling, though it had been quite hard for him to do so. "Say sorry and I'll let you live." He said in a commanding voice as his shadow loomed over the guy's battered body. It was quite satisfying that he had won, but even so, it would give him more pleasure if the guy would beg for his life right then and there.

As Leo attempted to sit up, he listened to the guy speak, disappointed that he hadn't caused him to fall when he had pulled the foot away from his chest just a minute ago. "I'll.....never....." Leo took in a painful breath. "Apologize.....to.....you....." He breathed out, his lungs running short of oxygen from where he had been so badly winded. Leo had managed to sit-up, and his eyes had managed to stay open, meaning that Leo was re-gaining his full-consciousness now, in hope of ending this fight pretty-soon.

"Then that's too bad...for you." In truth, Devlin was getting annoyed yet happy at the same time that the guy was unlike any others that he had met before. He wouldn't go down on his knees and beg for forgiveness, which is kind of new in his opinion. It was fine though, for he was quite sure that sooner or later, the guy would eventually give up and do his orders, he's sure of it. "You're really stupid aren't you? Or,, you were actually looking for a death wish?" He then added, an arrogant smirk appearing on his face as the guy started to move. He was ready for anything, be it that he will be beaten badly, he didn't really care, he's having fun, and that's all that matters.
