Place Holder for Danika and Samual Letters.

Danika was feeling just a little bit bored. Also slightly guilty. No one in other side of the family knew about her impending new addition. She and Jack had mutually decided to keep it a secret until they knew the baby would be healthy. The trouble was, on Danika's side of the family, there were known to be miscarriages for the first couple of pregnancies. Though she didn't know why. So in order to save the whole family the pain of losing a member of the family, she decided, with Jack, that they would keep it secret. Though of course this was causing problems. Her mother was upset because she wasn't visiting, and her in-laws think that she and Jack are going to call off the wedding. None of it, of course, was true. But until they had the baby, she didn't want to risk it. The only other person who knew about the pregnancy was Sammy. Jack only told him because no one ever told the poor kid anything, so he decided that it was about time that Sammy knew something first for once. And even though Danika had been dead against it, he had some how managed to turn her mood around.

However, now that she was in her third trimester, she wanted to get some names into her thoughts. Seeing as Jack seemed to not really care at the moment, she decided to send a letter to Sammy. He was usually pretty good and so she wanted his opinion on several names and maybe to think of some of his own. By god, at least it would give her something to do. If only for a few minutes. She walked up the hall to the study and found a quill, some ink and parchment. She wasn't exactly sure what she would say. So she just started like she would any other letter and hoped it would come to her.

Dear Sammy,

I am writing to you on a rather personal matter. You of course know that you are the only one who knows of my pregnancy and I was hoping that you would do me a favour. I have alot of names that I have been thinking of to name our daughter. However, Jack is absolutely not helping me decide at all, so I was hoping you could, and maybe throw in a few suggestions of your own. There is also something else I want to discuss with you, but that cane come later, after I have spoken to Jack. So, on to the names. I have a few so, hang in there;[ul]
[li]Sophie

[li]Fiona
[li]Katy
[li]Lorrie
[li]Malinda
[li]Katherine
[li]Lilia
[li]Julianne
[li]Edwina
and lastly a name that holds dear to me,

[li]Aleksandra.[/li][/ul]

Please write back and tell me what you think? I would like to know your opinion.

Admittedly, Sammy was quite surprised to find his brother's owl on the Gryffindor table. Jack had not written a letter to Samual for quite some time, he was always busy with training for Quidditch, playing Quidditch or spending time with Danika. Samual didn't mind though, he was just excited to have a letter from his brother. Deciding to skip breakfast, Sammy left the Great Hall and walked all the way up to Gryffindor Tower before opening the letter on his bed. It had been difficult to go that long without peeking at the letter, he was just too excited to wait.

The handwriting threw the Gryffindor off greatly. This wasn't Jack's writing, it was far too neat for him. Samual skipped to the bottom and smiled, the writing didn't belong to Jack because it was Danika's handwritting. Thank Merlin, Samual had forgotten how to read the Hieroglyphics Jack tried to pass off as handwriting. The prefect finally began reading the letter and his smile grew even larger. This was fantabulous! Samual couldn't believe he was being asked to help with names, he wasn't really good with naming things before seeing them, but he was determined. Grabbing some parchment and a quill, Samual began writing a reply as soon as possible. Once done, he tied the letter to Corvin, his raven and went off to class.
Dear Danika,

It's nice to hear from you, admittedly I thought this was from Jack, but now that I've learnt that it's from you, I'm relieved because I don't think I could decode any more hieroglyphics from Jack, it's just too much. Anyway;

I really really love the name Aleksandra! It's so pretty and Lillia is really nice too. I think Aleksandra Kaster sounds really nice, but I have an idea for a middle name!
Aleksandra Xavra Kaster, it looks really nice, and sounds just as great. Unless you and Jack have thought of a good middle name?

Danika didn't mind house work. It was really the only kind of work that Jack would let her do. Though she didn't really mind too much. Sometimes Jack would go alittle overboard. But that didn't matter to her. Atleast she knew he loved her, and the unborn daughter she carried. She smiled and hummed softly to herself as she placed another dish onto the rack. Whilst she was pregnant, she found that using her magic, made her tired and so she had opted out of it. She didn't really mind. Her mother used to do the same thing and she had five children. Danika planned to have many more. She shook her head as she thought about it. Some things were ridiculous.

She heard a noise at her window and leaned over the sink to lift the latch. Suddenly she saw a Raven. It must have been Corvin, she was sure of it. She pointed to the kitchen bench and quickly took the gloves off of her hands. And quickly ran a towel over them before picking some berries out of a jar and feeding them to Corvin. It seemed that he liked them too. That was good. He was a healthy Raven that meant. She smiled at his letter before writing her own. She then attached it to Corvin and let him out the window. She was sure Sammy would be excited with her news. She then patted down her clothes returned to what she was doing.

Sammy,

Thank-you for getting back to me so fast. I really appreciate it, especially with all your studying and all. Anyway, the name sounds amazing. Aleksandra Xavra Kaster. You are definitely quite adept at choosing names. We had not thought of a middle name as that was going to be a late minute thing, but seeing as you have already picked something. I think we shall just go with that. Thank-you again for that Sammy.

I have a surprise for you that I think you are going to like. I have talked it over with Jack and we both agree that you should bear the honour of being Aleksandra's Godfather. We would both really appreciate it. But we will also understand if you choose not to accept. Think it over. Please.

Yours Kindly,
Danika.
