Closed I won't do it in front of them

Gaia didn't trust her peers. Well some of them she liked to think she could trust them but did she want them all to see what she was most afraid of? No, not when in her head they could very well just use it against her. She'd thought it over and as she walked to Professor Adler's office she had a clear idea of how she'd go about it. No beating around the bushes, just straight to the point. Surely the woman would appreciate she be honest about it. Gaia was willing to face the Boggart but not in front of everyone else. With a soft knock Gaia settled to wait for a response from behind the door.

As Geo opened the door to another of her third years, she just hoped that she wasn't going to be as direct as Ares had been. Perhaps Gaia had been talking to him, and they'd made a pact coming one after the other. Not getting ahead of herself, and giving the Slytherin the benefit of the doubt as to why she was here, the professor moved to allow the third year to come further into her office. "How can I help you Gaia?" she asked, giving her a reassuring smile.

Gaia gave a small smile, as was polite, to the blonde professor as she opened the door. Stepping in she took a look around the office, a room she'd never yet visited. Then cleared her throat. "So about the Boggart lesson, I have no qualms about facing my Boggart, I'll do it but just not in front of the entire class." She began, getting straight to the point. "I don't trust someone not to take my worst fear and use it against me and I don't want that. I don't mind facing the fear but giving others the tool to use it against me in school I will not do." She wouldn't use other's fears against them, but that didn't mean someone else wouldn't do it.

Perhaps Geo had been wrong. The professor listened as Gaia explained her reasoning for not wanting to face her Boggart in the lesson. She didn't know enough of what Gaia was going through at school to know whether the others in her class were giving her grief, grief that would make this lesson a particular challenge. Regardless, Professor Adler was still open to the idea that students practised in her office, even if they didn't want to partake in the class. "If you like, you can face it in here," Gaia would still get an O, as long as she was able to successful cast the charm.
