Tara had just arrived back from her holiday and she couldn't believe what had happened over those few short weeks, she wished she had stayed in new zealand and not had to face what had happened. and she wished that she had stayed on the school grounds on the first day of the break as then she wouldn't have had to face the music for a couple of years like has originally been planed, but it was too late now.
As soon as she had taken her trunk to the common room and gotten changed into something more suitable for the new zealand climate she made her way up to the north tower. she needed some time to decide how to break her news to her boyfriend former boyfriend. she looked out of her favourite window, but she what she found so spectacular before. she looked out. and tried to come up with a plan. she heard someone coming up the stairs and quickly brushed the tear that was making its way down her face. before smiling turning around and looking who it was.

Dymetris was in state of misery and he had no shame in showing how put out he felt about everything around him. His uncle, his damn fcuking uncle had embarrassed the hell out of him, not just like in front of anyone but in front of the girl he had serious feelings for. The whole time from vacation, he did any possible way to write to Tara. He made an effort to use postage, wrote her a letter went to the muggel post office, however when he got there the muggel man kept asking for an address. An address for what I just want this letter to go to Tara?! He was kicked out there when he started ragging, his mom Askena rescue him away from more him humiliation. She felt awful and all of this blame fell on Lukyan, he was no longer living home.

The days back to school fell on him bad. He avoided most places command and for once he was happy he was a year older than Tara. He left the command room (assuming she be there) to get some fresh air. What he didn't see was that she end up being in the same place he wanted to be right now. He saw her standing near the tower open windows, he tried to smile, the frustration lines across his face made it nearly impossible to find comfort between them. "Hey guess I should..leave?"

Tara saw that the person coming up the steps was Dymetris. she smiled widely and ran over to him and put her arms around him and was about to kiss him when she remembered her place. taking one last moment hugging him se pulled away. Are you okay?your moters werent too mad when they found out were they? and please say your uncle calmed down quickly" she asked hoping that his uncle hadn't done anything to hurt him. Then she realised what he had said. "you don't have to leave for my sake." she said deciding that the best thing she could do would be to tell him what had happened from then his uncle had disaperated away with him to when the professor had arrived to take her back to school.

Dymetris's grew stiff in her arms, he couldn't show any affection back. As badly his arms felt safe around her, Dymetris stood still his eyes converted to the ground behind her. When she step back, the tension rising up his back fell forward. Dymetris withdrew a breath, he could breath again. "I can't say I'm all peaches and cream" he bluntly admitted to Tara. "My mothers are okay and they said it was okay, but I don't think it's okay with my uncle." he was out, did not significantly mean he had no saying to Dymetris. He basically took charge of the Kozlov's surname. "Basically I can't see you anymore, my uncle permitted and that's it." he spoke it with regret in his voice, tears were threatening to pool over his green optics, he stop them from shedding by looking another direction. "This is what I was trying to avoid.."

Tara felt that Dymetris wasn't acting the same and she realised that a lot had changed for both of them. she was guilty that his uncle had hurt him because of her but she realised that there was nothing that she could do about it now. "I'm sorry about that." she said feeling another tear sneak out of her eye. "It is a shame that your uncle wont let us be together. I have got news for you which you wont like she said a few more tears leaking out. she listed her left hand up so Dymetris could see the small ring on her finger. "When i arrived home my camily realised that something was upsetting me. they managed to pry out of me what had happened in the park. with you and me and your uncle. anyway, eventually the truth came out that they had been arranging my marriage, for years, since i was six" she said her voice catching in her throat and tears were now rolling down her face. "I'm so sorry, i didn't know about this at all" she said horsely.

What he wasn't prepare to hear was the part she reveal to him. He was so shocked, his eyes pop out from underneath his eyelids. He step back, pushing away from her. Yes he had orders not to see her again, that did not excluded the feeling that still remain inside of him. Theose feelings that ran deep into the young veela veins, how could this happen?"Now I really have to go, I ah to do some unpacking anyways" he pushed away some more, almost losing a step behind, he had nearly fell on the ground behind him. Lucky the walls were close in on them, though it brought a whole new feeling of anxiety wash over him. I can't not believe this is really happening!

Tara realised that she had told Dymetris the facts that she had promised herself that she would but she hadn't told him what she felt, that she didn't want to marry Praneil, that she had been told she would eater agree to the engagement or not go back to school. that she had managed to put her term in by saying she wouldn't marry until she graduated. but now he was making up an excuse and fumbling around, acting like she had done when she had found out. she realised that she owed it to herself, and Dymetris to say one last thing before they split up and wouldn't talk to teach other for a long time. "i didn't want to, if i didn't engage i couldn't return to school, there was no other option. we can still be friends" she said, knowing that the last part was pointless, and that being friends may be harder than not. but this conversation wasn't going at all the way she had imagined during her sleepless nights in india.

"I wish I could say that it's so easy and everything will be okay. I can't be your friend, I can't talk to you like before" much more now cause she was engage to be marry and Dymetris didn't want no part of her life if this was happening to her and his feelings still remain intact. He had to simply part away from the one friend he had here since he ignored the world around for almost a year cause he was with Tara. "I'm sorry I just can't simply says yes when it's not good for you or me" he started to stir away from the towers, they made him sad now, she had made this area tainted for him. He will always be reminded what she said to him and that's something he can't take without his inside breaking into pieces. "Besides it was nothing, just puppy love nothing at all" he said it, now he was leaving to go some places else. Being in those towers were just to much.

Tara nodded when Dymetris said that they wouldn't be able to be friends any more, she didnt protest because she knew that it was the truth, even if his words left her feeling like she had had been smashed int a million tiny peaces. she could see just how much this conversation had hurt him and she felt bad for that but she knew that it had to come sooner rather than later, she had made her choice, and as much as she hated herself for that choice she had to follow through with it. "I understand what I have done and i am so sorry that it had to hurt you" she said. she half wished that she hadn't agreed to go out with him last november as then she wouldn't have to hurt him today. but she knew that the good times she had had with him far outweighed the pain of today and for this reason some selfish part of her brain, a part that she always tried to suppress was glad.
she watched as Dymetris walked away, and heard him say something about puppy love. she wasn't quite sure what puppy love was (was it something to do with loving your pet dog) but then she realised that she didn't love Praneil, he was a friend, almost like a brother to her, when she married him, they would get on and live like a family, but love was not there just duty, maybe she would grow to love him, maybe. however watching Dymetris walk away made her realise something that she had never admitted to herself before. she loved Dymetris. it was as simple as that. maybe if she had known this two months ago she would be in india now refusing to become engaged, but now was too late.
