Shane was pleased that the school was once again busy, he had grown rather bored of the quiet place it had become, though it had still be better than going home. He was at an odd impasse, he found himself bored of the quiet, frustrated by the lack of people to scowl at. He had never liked the noise of others, he had never enjoy the bustling nature of a busy place, but there was maybe something to the quiet, there was maybe something to be in the noise while the world continued around him. Shane wasn’t sure if he was maybe just a little weird, weirder than he had first thought he was. He was at that point sitting in the student lounge of all places, with a loud hum of noise in the room, and a little, quite real smile sat on his expression. His gaze was pulled into the old and clearly worn book that he was reading, the dents in the spine and the colouring of the pages clear against the more pristine school books he’d brought with him. He didn’t spend many occasions reading, but this seemed to be as good a time as any to be reading. It wasn’t maybe how most people would enjoy their time, able to concentrate well, read easily in a hum of so much noise.
