Felix was new to the job, and he was only here half of the time, well, he split his time between this place and what he did outside of it. Because as much as Felix desired to work in a school, he was still an army medic first and foremost. He was a member of the Spanish army and he wasn't about to stop doing that. Felix had all the outward signs of an army man really, the pristinely tidy office, the haircut, the way he held himself, outwardly, Felix had the build of exactly what people might assume, but, then again those were just outward signs, inwardly Felix was a massive prankster. When it came to his job, whether this one or the other one, he took them very seriously, and he tried to ensure that he excelled in them, but when he was outside such a situation the man resembled a big kid. He worked hard for everything he'd ever gotten, and he knew that when it was his own personal time that he could figuratively let his hair down and be more like the twenty-four year old that he was, an all to large kid, which was funny since he was now in the very job of a nurse in the magical school in New Zealand, where he was expected to be the one healing injuries not perhaps causing them.

However, he'd only been at the job a few weeks, and it had been interesting to say the least, he spent a lot of his time fixing minor injuries, and had stood back to let one of the other nurses take care of the boy, which equipped to deal with such a thing, his knowledge sat much more with the muggle side of it, and that had really required magic, so he had stood back and read the other man's notes. This was the whole point of him being at the school, he had spent so long being a muggle army medic and had wanted to learn more about magical healing, and being a nurse at this school was just perfect for that, and he was learning so much by doing which was how Felix learned best. It was the same with the language, he learned better when he was in amongst things. however, noticing as he was searching for a book, that it was mysteriously gone, the man, searched his office before deciding that it was no longer there, and went to talk to the other man, knocking on his door and waiting outside for him to answer. Hopefully he would know where his book had gotten to, it wasn't like the book could've grown legs and walked away.

Lucius Verdelet was excited to meet the new nurse. And best of all, what kind of way would be an exciting meeting than being pelted with marshmallows? It was one way to welcome him to Hogwarts. Lucius was renowned by his friends, and wife, over what sort of prankster he was. Jarrett hated that about him. Then again, Lucius also caught Jarrett's pants on fire once. Lucius wanted to see if a firecracker would really catch a pair of jeans on fire that was soaked with a beer. Turns out, it did. He called that a chemistry experiment whereas Jarrett called him an ass. That might have been true. Though one would have thought with his son turning four the following March, that he would have grown up out of that by now. But no. Even when his son was an infant, Lucius would hover him around, having his son pick up various objects and bring them to him. Lucius thought that was funny, but Zinnia did smack him behind the head a few times for it. Wade Jarrett Verdelet sure did have his mother's looks, considering she was Part-Veela, passing that gene down to his son. Lucius could not be more proud of how diverse his in-laws were. Deaf, blind, but still beautiful and kind to their own right. Plus his brother-in-law was a seer, which was super cool.

Still, his fingers worked away at a very color gun that was made of plastic with metal innards to shoot small objects. Lucius leaned back in his chair, and he loaded a marshmallow straight up. To his amazement, it worked, as it launched the marshmallow up in the air, which he proceeded to catch in his mouth. Mmmm it was good. It was a good distraction over what he saw earlier this year. After that incident with Chaos and Logan, it had him rattled up a little bit. That poor boy. However, he heard a knock at his door, and with a perfectly, devious grin, Lucius knelt down to where only his head and the gun could be seen from the desk. "Come in!" Lucius said, with a smile to his voice. As soon as that door opened, he saw the man. He smirked, "Welcome to the joys of nursing with me, Felix!" And his finger pulled the trigger, launching a barrage of marshmallows toward the man's face. He had no idea why Felix was knocking at his office right now, but it would be worth it.

As soon as Felix heard that he could walk into the room, the man opened the door and smiled a little at the greeting, if it was just a little bit strange and then Felix was pelted with tiny little soft objects. He didn't know what was happening, but his army instinct of being fired at seemed to kick in as he took cover behind the nearest thing he could take cover behind, and it was as he was behind this with his wand drawn and held tightly in his hand that he noticed what the things he was being pelted with were, marshmallows!? He smirked slightly wondering if perhaps that was the usual nurses greeting, and then without a weapon for himself he wasn't sure what he could do, although in that moment, the nurse realised he had a wand, and the wand could very easily aid him in fighting back, all his time spent away from magic and magical things had somewhat impaired his ability to remember his wand when he needed to. The nurse waved his wand, and the marshmallows on the floor in front of him rose up, he glanced round to spot where the other man was and with a small flick sent the marshmallows rushing in that direction.

It wasn't often that Felix got the opportunity to mess around like this, and specifically not often while at work, not at the army could he really mess around like this. Even though they had their own games and such, never had he been pelted with marshmallows at work and never had he returned fire at work. The man had not been sure what to expect from this place, what to expect from this work. The nurse liked this, he was enjoying this even if it was fairly childish, but he felt like perhaps this meant if ever this other man came to his office that he should be pelting marshmallows at him, or just something, perhaps this was the beginning of something. With only a few marshmallows left Felix held out his hands as a time out perhaps just to be able to get pelted more so that he would have more marshmallows or to momentarily stop this so that he could figure out his next move, "I'm Felix, I'm the new nurse," he said his spanish accent thick on his words though he was much better better at english that before, "Truce?"

Lucius noticed that the new guy seemed to be a little on the touchy side. He lowered the weapon for a moment, before he smirked a bit. What would the other guy think when he was covered in marshmallows? Lucius loaded up his little weapon before firing them once more toward the nurse. He wanted another person to have fun with, and maybe he just got his answer. However, Lucius noticed something. Marshmallows were floating, and then they were hurled in his direction by magic. Okay, why didn't he think of that? Lucius let out a small shout, "Ah!" before ducking behind his desk. Oh, two can play at that game! Lucius continued to fire his weapon, peeking a little bit at the desk, and in the direction of the male named Felix, from what he knew. He just hoped he was thinking it right because Lucius was really bad with names. As Lucius was running low on marshmallows, he wondered if he should keep firing otherwise he would not be able to eat any. He saw a hand waving and Lucius stopped his attack immediately. That would end it for now, since he was running low. He did not have an endless supply, though he could duplicate them with a spell...

Laying the weapon down, Lucius came out from behind his desk and approached the new guy with a broad smile, "Truce, for now. Welcome aboard, Felix. I'm Lucius in case no one else told you." Lucius held out his hand for a greeting. It was a little more traditional this his own, but it was definitely worth it. He wondered what the man came in here for anyway. Was it someone needing some help? Did he want to read any of the books he had in here? Lucius reached into his mostly empty bag of marshmallows and popped on into his mouth. He walked backward until his thighs touched his desk, and he sat down on top of it, squishing a couple of marshmallows unintentionally. "So, what did you come in here for?" Lucius asked, the smile still upon his lips. He was a gentle person either way. He might have a little of a joke streak within him, it was just something that others that worked with him had to get used to. There were not any other nurses besides him, Felix and Vipress. Lucius did not know a thing about the latter.

Felix had no issues with this, and he found it more than a little fun, it was just easier that was until he ran out of marshmallows to throw at the other nurse and he held his hands out to indicate that he was out and willing to put down his arms so when the other man popped out of his desk Felix returned the smile to him, enjoying how good it felt to just enjoy himself like this in such a strange manner. Part of Felix had assumed in coming to this job in joining the medical team here that his life would be filled with cases of small cuts and the odd illness, that it would be all very serious but from this man's smile, his general disposition and the fact that he had started this with a marshmallow fight, it seemed to Felix that he would get along well with this man and he would definitely be able to have fun, "Good to meet you Lucius," the man accepted the hand and shook it firmly, his light spanish accent playing into his words as he greeted the slightly older man, he wondered how long this man had been a nurse at the school.

"It likely sounds ridiculous but I can't find one of my books, wondered if you might have it?" the man asked with a shrug unsure of where he had placed it, he couldn't spot it and assumed that someone else might've lifted it by accident, "It was in Spanish," he added, since half of his books were in his native language, he had several english to spanish dictionaries to aid him in being able to translate some of the more complicated bits and pieces of english he didn't really know yet. The man smiled at him, knowing that he likely had just misplaced it, "Probably somewhere within all my stuff, things get lost," Felix shrugged, crossing his arms slightly as he spoke, "Thought it would be best to come speak to you before I tear my office apart, also a good way to introduce myself," the spanish man smiled, "How long have you been at the school?" he asked curious about how long this man had been at the school, getting to know his co-workers was important and though he doubted that he would find the same bond as with his army buddies, considering how this meeting had started he could only assume that no matter what they'd be at least good friends.

Lucius thought that this guy would be a blast to work with! But he did notice the accent, which definitely countered his American one from Massachusetts. He lived down in New Zealand for years and years, but it remained, albeit lightly. Of course, he did not think that he had an accent anymore. And he would argue with them saying so. He was just like that. Lucius was asked about one of his books, before he raised an eyebrow, “Did it grow legs and walk away? But you could, perhaps, try summoning it, specifically so all the books don’t come flying.” Lucius would definitely not have a book that was in Spanish. Since he could not read it, let alone speak it, he would definitely not be hiding it. Though, that would be funny for the future. Lucius was thinking of something absolutely diabolical but hopefully won’t end up with someone hurt. “I’ve been here for years. Like, ten years. But come on, I’ll help you look around.” Lucius figured that this guy could stick around for a while, but he was really young when he started working here. Now, he was a father, a husband, and a godfather to Jarrett’s twins. Worst mistake ever since he uses babies to pick things up for him.
