After spending all morning cooped up in her dorm room up in Gryffindor tower, Wendy wanted a bit of fresh air. She was considering going for a run again, but she had already been feeling a bit faint so she decided against it. The Gryffindor girl grabbed her water bottle and decided to head outside anyway, it seemed like a nice day. Since she had been inside all morning she was used to the warmth of the Gryffindor fire, she departed the castle in a thin spaghetti strapped shirt, jeans and sandals. As soon as she felt the wind whip around her, Wendy shuttered slightly but was already halfway across the lawn and didn't want to go all the way back up the tower for a sweater. She decided to brave the cold, she was a Gryffindor after all, and they were brave.
It wasn't that cold anyway, it was only autumn, but the only reason she was feeling cold was because she was used to the warmth that she had been indoors all day. Wendy shrugged to herself and decided to go to the cliffs, a place she rarely, if ever, visited. She didn't know what brought her there, aside from sheer boredom and willingness to go somewhere different so as to cure her boredom, but she'd always heard it was often void of people as it was supposed to be off limits after all, which pretty much screamed 'Come here any chance you get!' to students. Wendy decided to take one of her chances.
As she approached the cliffs, the tall, lanky Gryffindor girl awkwardly made her way to the edge, resting her bony arms on the protective railing, though she looked so thin she could slip through the openings easily. Wendy didn't know when or how she suddenly grew into a giantess, in her opinion, as she had always been rather short, and she wasn't really liking her new height. It caused her to be awkward within her body, and constantly feel uncomfortable with her image; and it didn't help that her hormones were suddenly raging thanks to the enemy of all teens, puberty. Wendy chuckled lightly to herself, with her sudden growth spurt she felt like such a boy, because it was always the boys that sky-rocketed taller than their peers, why did it happen to her too? Wendy bent down and grabbed a few small rocks and began throwing them over the edge, attempting to see if her pale blue eyes could keep up with the falling rock until it hit bottom, but no matter how hard she tried to focus on the rock, it always seemed to disappear after a few seconds.
