'Holly Wand 11" Essence of Phoenix Feather'
Hollie wandered into the owlery, and her jaw dropped. Woah she breathed, in awe, as she gazed around at the many owls. Finally she spotted her owl, Snowie, sat amongst the other white owls.
"I have a message for you!" she said to her, as she walked over and stroked Snowie lightly on the top of her soft head.
She pulled out a piece of parchment from her pocket. It was a letter home.
Dear Mum, Dad, Madi, and of course you Muffy(!),

I'm having the most amazing time here. I have made so many friends already - Steph, Belle, Toria and so many more. It's immense. I was sorted into Gryffindor when I got here by a hat! Can you imagine? A hat! Anyway, Gryffindor is great. The friends I mentioned above all share a dorm with me, in Gryffindor house. I have made a friend called Kate as well, though she's in Hufflepuff. I'll explain about all of that when I next see you though, coz you probably don't have a clue what I'm talking about!
As soon as I was sorted, I went to Obsidian Harbour and bought all my school stuff. I got a wand! Yes, a wand! It is 11", made of Holly and Phoenix feather. It's great. The guy who sold it to me gave me 10 galleons off! He was really nice. The people here are so friendly. You really don't have to worry about me, I'm fine here. Although you probably aren't worrying about me, you never did when I was at home. But don't worry, I'm not holding that as a grudge.
I'm so happy, thank you for allowing me to come here.
I hope you are all well, and yes, it may surprise you, but please give my love to all my other siblings, including Shelby.
Love you lots, I hope you are missing me!
Love and God bless,

She tied the piece of parchment to her owl's leg, and gave the address.
"It's a long flight," she warned the bird, "but I'm sure you'll manage. I mightn't see you for a few days. make sure you don't come back without a reply!" she paused, wondering how to send the owl. "Well then, safe flight! off you go!" she patted Snowie, who hooted loudly, and then took off into the glorious sky. Hollie stood and watched 'till her messanger was nothing but a white speck against the sensational blue sky, and then she turned around and left the owlery.
