Lillian hated the try-outs that came with Quidditch. She knew some players on the team already, but it still frightened her. What if no one liked her or what if she didn't make the team this year. She had done okay last year, but this time there had been a lot more people. Lillian shrugged and wanted to hide from other Ravenclaws. Since she couldn't vanish entirely the second best thing was finding a chair and made sure she blended in with the rest of the furniture. She talked to people at home, but everyone at Hogwarts seemed to scary. She did like the history club, but she wasn't sure when they would meet up again. The people in her class were pretty out going and Lillian wished she could be like them. She wanted to talk to people, but as soon as she saw someone sweat broke out and her voice turned to a mere whisper.

Senna was bored. And when she was bored there were only two things that could help: 1) find her friends or 2) bother someone else into keeping her company. She was easy to please though and her boredom easy to cure. She just needed someone to talk to. Heading into the student lounge she had hoped to find Josh or Emmanuel there. Or perhaps Penelope or Kyon. Anyone she knew, really. Instead, she scanned the room to find none of them there. What she did find was one of their other classmates and in the spirit of reaching out and making new friends Senna dropped down into a chair next to Lillian's and shot her a grin. "Hey! Whatcha doing?"

Lillian was looking around with a book laying opened on her lap. The book was about Quidditch and had some special techniques that she wanted to try for the next training they had planned. She was making sure no one came near her. Well her strategy of looking up every once in a while wasn't fool proof, she did try to make sure she was alone. Suddenly she heard a thud in the chair next to her. She wasn't alone anymore and when she looked up she noticed it was someone from she reconised from her classes. 'He..llo'' Lillian muttered knowing she had to say something. ''Re..ading... about... Quidditch.'''Lillian stammered on while holding up her book.

By the way Lillian responded it only took a second for Senna to realize that either a) she was shy or b) she had a stutter. Or perhaps both. Neither of them were going to intrude on her plans of making more friends though and she grinned when her classmate shower her the book, mentioning it was about quidditch. "Oh that's cool! Do you play quidditch? Is there anything helpful in there?" She asked curiously, pretty sure that she had never read the book herself. Not that she used much of her spare time for reading anyways.

Lillian looked up from her book and knew she couldn't hide in the chair or run away. The latter option would be really weird. ''Uhuh, I am the alternate beater'' she said softly. ''Yes, there is,'' Lillian added ''Theres a paragraph about evasive manoeuvres that is pretty cool.'' Lilian still spoke softly, but she knew she was at least understandable. ''Do you play?"' She didn't recognize the girl as a player, but it wasn't like she was watching who played on which team.

Senna's mouth dropped a bit when Lillian mentioned she was on the team as an alternate beater. Perhaps she needed to pay a little more attention to the other house teams. Then again, Gryffindor was the only one she was truly interested in. "That's wicked cool." She grinned in response, glancing at the book when the other girl spoke about it. It sounded useful. If only she enjoyed reading she was sure she could learn something from it. "Nah. I tried out for the team once, too much competition." Sen shrugged. "I do like it though. Wish I could play a little more often."

Lillian nodded she was glad the Ravenclaw team wasn't that much mayhem. The try-outs weren't overly crowded and Lillian didn't care if she was alt or not. She had hoped that they would let her join the team fully as she had tried her best last year. ''I am glad Ravenclaw isn't that way'' She muttered. ''We could play together sometime if you want'' Lillian spoke softly. Training's were cool, but she could always use more practice.
