Jake kick the dirt in front of him after apparating here from Hawaii. He had plans to meet up with Kathryn for a while. Today they were just going to hang out and he wanted to ask her something real important. He didn't feel as if he was doing anything bad with Kathryn. He still was current with Irene, matter fact he love his snow white. Yet he couldn't but feel strange when he thought about Red, that was his nick name for her. He still hadn't use it around her, but had use it in the letter. He had a smirk display on his lips. "Come on Red, where are ya?" he muttered minutes later, pacing back and forth.

Katheryn was dressed in a casual outfit for her meeting with Jake. His letter hadn't said much so she was very curious as to what was going on. She strolled down the streets of Brightstone until she saw Jake. Kat grinned at him, waving at him as she quicked her pace to reach him.

Kat threw her arms around him in a tight hug before letting go. Lately, he was her only friend she could actually talk to. "So what's up?" she asked, smiling up at him.

Jake felt Kathyrn arms fall around his shoulders. She had to have been on tip toes to do that since Jake was very tall now that he was fully grown. He been right when her arms fell down a little but he hug her back mid-waist. "Nothing much Red, what's been up with you? Its been weeks since I last saw you?" he remember their night at the melody. She taught him a few moves, he taught her how to fall down. He was still laughing about it for a while. Jake grin grew wild just thinking about it. He also went back to thinking of what he had mind, when he let go briefly from her waist, he thought about it some more. He figure she like the idea, who wouldn't though? A whole week just hanging out, maybe it didn't so sound so bad. However he didn't presented to her yet. A while longer than it be alright.

Katheryn's facial expression didn't change as he called her red. She had been correct when she assumed that it was his new name for her. Kat dropped her arms as she stood back to survey Jake. He was tall, and very handsome in her opinion. Kat grinned at him. "Oh you know, nothing much ever happens at that school." she said jokingly. "Though it has been ages since I saw you last. How is Hawaii?" she asked him, truly interested. From all the muggle movies she had see, Hawaii always looked like a good time.

"That's because you go to Hogwarts. Hogwarts blows big time." Jake tease Kat about her school. He did a bold move and drop his arm around her shoulder. He could smell what she was wearing today, Jake love when girls get all doll up just to hang out with a guy. It made them more appealing, even if they were just buddies. "So you say your summer may stink? Eh true or not? Hawaii way more fun than being in New Zealand" he tease again while walking with her."You should totally come with me right now and check it out? Your allow to apparate right? If not, I am.." at first he was checking to see how much she was up for a friendly dare. It was always hot in Hawaii so a little fun wouldn't hurt today. Jake was so ready to go, he even let her go and grab for her hand. "Come on, let's go?"

Katheryn looked at Jake as he suggested they apparate to Hawaii. It was spur of the moment and something completely unlike Kat. She looked at Jacob skeptically. "To Hawaii? Right now?" she asked, wondering if he was actually serious. "I can apparate if I know where I am going but I don't know exactly where to go in Hawaii." she said, looking at him curiously. Was he always so implusive?

I could've apparated with you, but since your a bit hesitant...than let's just hang around here..." Jake resorted putting his arm around Kat again. He started to walk with her, heading for the village main streets. "Questions, if you don't mind me asking..Would you like to at least go to Hawaii with me this break coming up? My sis says its okay, that's were our quidditch practices takes place" Jake smile brightly showing off his sideways smirk. Maddiie was even allowing Jon girlfriend to come over and vacation in Hawaii. Maddiie was hosting a little get together and had wanted everyone in her family to be there. He was all for Irene to come as well but she had told Jake she couldn't make it that weekend. He was bum, but had ask her if it was okay if Jake could invite someone over. Irene agree, and didn't mind at all.

Katheryn nodded as Jake put his arm around her. She smiled at the warmth coming off of him. She followed his lead as they began to walk towards the main streets of Brightstone. Katheryn grinned at the thought of visiting him on break. She nodded her head eagerly. A vacation in Hawaii would be better than sitting around in California. "I think that I would love that! I can't wait!" she said excitedly.

Sweet he thought to himself. At least he wouldn't be there alone even if his pals were going to be there too. "Great, at least I won't be alone. Me and my girlfriend been having problems." he was hoping Kat would be the type to listen and hear the problems Jake been going through, it felt like an emotional rollarcoaster. One minute she was happy with Jake than next she was angry with him. Every word he spoke to her Jake had to be cautious of. If he said something bad, he never was aware of it, till after it happens. By than it be to late, Jake was clueless. This was his actual real relationship, so one can feel helpless when your girlfriend was so sensitive.

Katheryn was startled at Jake's words. She didn't believe that she knew he had a girlfriend. He certainly hadn't mentioned it before. Her heart fell slightly though she didn't let the emotion on her face. Kat had hoped that there was something more than friendship for this. Her face was kept emotionless as she looked at him. "Well what exactly has been going on? What kind of problems?" she asked kindly.

"I'm not sure I think she wants to break up..." he look over at Kat and sighed. "Maybe its for the best or something...she seems like everything falling apart so I may be single by the time we go to Hawaii for a retreat" it would be his first serious relationship over so soon. Irene didn't seem happy with Jake, well from Jake's perspective that's how he saw it. Jake would do anything to make it work, but why even try? He was still young and their were a lot of possibilities all around him. Though it felt that way, Jake tried no to jump to conclusion. Even thought it may seem like he already had.

Katheryn's eyebrows puckered. This was so strange. Who would want to break up with this handsome guy beside her? Had his girlfriend lost her mind? Kat thought for a moment before responding. "Why would she want to break up? Did something happen?" she asked, trying to get the whole story. Her heart skipped at the thought of him being single. That would open the door for her. Kat scolded herself internally. She would never wish that kind of heart break for him or his girlfriend.

"I don't know...okay if your promise not to laugh, than I will tell you..." Jake look over at Kat. She seem sincere when their eyes met. For the moment of time, he wish to be single already. Kat was very beautiful, still he look away. "Well I'm clueless about girls. This will be my first girlfriend really, all the other ones I never count. So its like whoa, are you following me here?" Jake was admitting to not having real experience with girls. Sure he came off as being the one to have plenty of girls chasing for his tail, but eventually the truth had to come out. "So I'm going to break up with her, just to give her space to clear her mind or something. I mean she not bad person, but I feel like I should..." Jake sighed this was becoming more annoying than he figure it be.

Katheryn did not laugh when he told her he had no experience with girls. Her clear blue eyes met his with honesty. She felt a connection with him as she listened, nodding at the right parts. Katheryn smiled at him. "No I understand you completely." she said kindly. "Though, I probably won't be much help to you. All my dating experience is completely fake. I haven't ever had a boyfriend. I have very little experience with boys. Everything I know is from Kiera's experience." she admitted with a small grin. "Are you sure breaking up with her is the best way?" she asked curiously. If he broke up with her then maybe he could be with her.

"Glad you get me Kathryn, I mean don't you hate that" he meant that part were his older siblings had more experience than he did. He also notice most of them were happily taken at such a young age. Except for Ben of course, he was always the lady killer. Jake was just the wannabee. "Yeah I think so, I will have to tell her when I get back. Done with it, you know I don't want anything complicated" he sucked his lips in and look down at Kathyrn. He was really glad she was around, his best friend hadn't been around to see Jake. He would've told his best friend but they seem to be to busy, so Jake was greatful for Kathyrn.
"You know you have very beautiful eyes, I just notice how blue they are...Sort of reminds me of summer" he look away up towards the sky, summer was over. Though when he look back at Kathyrn, she reminded him of that season.

Kat looked uo at Jake with sympathy in her eyes. She did understand how it was with older siblings. She had two who had already found the loves of their lives and were blissfully happy. Kat hated being around that. People in love could be so annoying. As Jake complimented her eyes, Kat froze. She wasn't used to compliments of any sort. Her cheeks flooded with redness. "Thank you. I um get them from my mother. She and Cameron and I all share the same eyes." she told him. Though her mother's looked much colder than her blue eyes.

"That's nice, me and my sister have the same eyer colors" Jake chuckle nipping the side of his lip, he still had his arm layer over her shoulder lightly. "We get from my mother, she had those kind of eyes. She was Taino Indian, so its kind of cool to have them" his voice sounded distant when he spoke of his mother. Jake couldn't remember the last time he spoke about her that way. "Yours are pretty though" Jake directed her towards a little stand. They were still selling slushy, Jake enquirer and offered to buy Kat one. "Do you want one Kat?" he said still staring by the side, he may have just broken up with hid girlfriend. But Jake had a thing for Kat since he last saw her at the Melody. He was so into Irene to notice, but now there was a possibility for him to get to know her more than just friend bases.

Katheryn listened to Jake talk with interest. She remembered his sister, who had been the same year as her sister. Once again, she blushed as he told her that her eyes were pretty. "Thank you." she told him. Kat was acutely aware of his arm touching her shoulders. As he offered to buy her a slushy she grinned. "Sure as long as you are getting one. Sounds good actually." she said before accepting what he handed her.

Jake handed the kid selling them a few galleons and order up two slush puppies (What they call it in Boston), handing Kat hers. His was a mango flavor kind, a tropical flavor that made him think of Puerto Rican again. He lead back to a bench and sat down letting her decided if she wanted to sit down or not. The ice was clinging to the side and the mango juice was overwhelming. Though Jake love mango and took several sips to calm it down. "So like school, you was telling me about wording magic..." he was lame at coming up with a topic. He just didn't want to seem like he was coming onto her to fast, she wouldn't fall for it would she? Jake wish she did or else he would be snogging her right now.
