PERSONALITY
Henry usually keeps to himself, but is happy to socialise and make friends when the opportunity presents itself. He is easy-going and adaptable, happy to follow his friends around and do what they tell him to do, rather than take the leading role. He doesn't like the idea of telling people what to do, rather he would let people boss him around. Henry is pretty laidback, determind and ambitious. He tries his hardest to do what he can to get what he wants. Henry grew up on the west coast beaches of Auckland. All his life, he's surfed and spent most of his days at the beach. Henry talks a lot with a lot of gestures. Sometimes when he talks, he has a habit of signing in sign language. It's a habit he's grown used to while communicating with his sister and family.

HISTORY
Henry was born in Auckland, New Zealand and grew up in Piha, Auckland, located on the west coast of Auckland. Henry spent almost every day at the beach. Both his parents, Lachlan and Leilani, were Muggle people who were happy to support their children in anything they wanted to do. Both parents worked hard to make sure that their children could reach their goals and find the resources they could. Lachlan had taught Henry to surf, as he, too, was always at the beach and surfed a lot, and that had inspired Henry to do the same. Henry looked up to his parents, especially his dad. Lachlan worked a lot at sea when he wasn't surfing. Lachlan works as a fisherman, gathering fish for local markets. Leilani works as a special education teacher, supporting those with diverse, physical and behavioural needs. Henry also has an older sister who is a few years older than him. She, too, loves the sea and water, but isn't so keen on the surfing aspect of it. Henry loves both his sister and mother. He looks up to his sister and worries about her a lot, even though she is only a couple of years older than him. His older sister, Heather, was born deaf, and it had been a few hurdles for the family of course but they've pushed through it of course. Growing up, Henry has developed sign language (New Zealand Sign Language) to communicate with his sister, as well as those who are part of the deaf community.
