Willow was starting to be known as the increadable singing girl. She didn't care. Music was her only refuge aside from the frilly little manga mags that she read from time to time. She made little effort to make friends. She also stayed away from the song Seven Nation Army. It reminded her of that boy that asked her to dance in the hall. She had burned for a moment then felt bad because she had snapped at him. She snapped at everyone really but she didn't want to.

She was just like that. Today's song on her guitar was 'Happiness' but no matter what the title maybe Willow's song was anything but happy.

"Happiness is just outside my window
Would it crash blowing 80-miles an hour?
Or is happiness a little more like knocking
On your door, and you just let it in?

Happiness feels a lot like sorrow
Let it be, you can't make it come or go
But you are gone- not for good but for now
Gone for now feels a lot like gone for good"

Willow went on with her leg coming down from the window still she was sitting on. It was surprising to her how many windows in the castle didn't have glass on them. She sopped there was a charm to keep out the wind. Right now there was no wind. It was a perfectly sunny, still, spring day. This thought brought Willow no joy as she plucked at the strings of her guitar.

Alex was walking along after having handed in his Astronomy homework when he heard a voice singing a song. He walked silently and saw the girl he had met before, not much on freindly terms though. He bit his lip remembering the little problem they had had to make her dance for his dare. He listened to the song then looked at her face. 'Seems to me the song isn't quite doing the magic,'Alex commented, glad he hadn't forgotten his wand in his room again.

Willow stopped and shrugged. "The Fray tends to make people cry when they hear it. Matches me perfectly at the moment." She said. She finally looked at the boy she that had dragged her off to dance. "I'm not going to try and jinx you it that's what your worried about. I don't like people manhandling me. Along with other things. I did want to say sorry for snapping at you." She said then turned away again. He could go on his way if he wanted to know. She started to pluck strings on her guitar again.

Alex heared the girl. He would have to agree to the fact she looked like a zombie if he out it in his own dictionary. Sad basically. 'Hey, don't worry about it. I don't like getting man-handled either. I just seemed to forget people can be like i don't know more sensitive than others'Alex replied, struggling to find a word to describe people like her. 'So, how are you then apart from being a zombie?'Alex asked, jokinga bit on the end.

Willow rolled her eye. "like i don't know what are you a girl?" She asked her voice dripping with sarcasm. This boy was annoying. She didn't know why she even bothered. She shook her head. "I just am. A zombie is that Hufflepuff boy that was dead and came back to life. I heard about that even though it didn't go to either the play or the memorial." She said. "What about you, Asult any young girls lately?" She asked this time trying to be funny but some of her sarcasm came out.

Alex laughed as she told him what a zombie was. 'I take you didn't like that awesome prank?'Alex asked her though it was mroe of a statement. 'You know, pranking that many people at once must be a record I would think'Alex commented before rolling his eyes at her pitiful try on humour. 'Yeah, I have actually. Lets see, two in the common room, one in the dungons, oh, and i mustn't forget the group of girls I decided to throw rocks at by the lake'Alex joked obviously, ticking them off on his fingers. He flashed a smile. 'Answer your question?'he asked her back in the sarcastic tone she had used on him.

Willow let out a sniffing laugh. "Alright you can keep up." She said her laugh getting stronger. "I wasn't there so I couldn't tell you if I liked it or not. I would think that many people didn't like it so the Head Boy is sleeping with one eye open." She said. She was talking about what she heard two girls saying as she passed by. When one didn't have a lot of people to talk to one tended to catch more things that where being said. "Your hair used to be different." She said letting her eyes sweep Alex up and down.

Alex agreed with what she had said about Bruin. 'I know it was cruel but it was still a great plan to pull. Imagine what could of happen if something went wrong'Alex commented before rocking back onto his heels as she swept him up and down. It made him feel uneasy. 'Really? It seems the same to me. Well, I must admit, I did cut it a bit but other than that, nothing much different. Why? You trying to give a hitn to change it?'Alex joked to annoy her. he knew he had died it just the same as she did

Willow shrugged. "No I'm not. I just notice things. It used to be darker." She said. "Bet I can tell you a little about you by just looking at you." She said with a slight smirk. It was often she let someone in on her Homes skills but it was fun to do so from time to time. Willow was looking for a little bit of fun right now, It had been nearly a year and still she felt like the same hollow shell that had come into Hogwarts.

((Give full discription of his clothes and demeaner. I will help trust me.))

(demeaner?? help? what's that? )

Alex laughed. 'yeah, I died it blond. Seemingly they're meant to have more fun'Alex said before looking about to see if there were any blondes about. 'Don't know what people are on about'he joked, lowering his voice. Smiling, he shoved his hands into his jeans bored. 'Al little about me, eh?This should be interesting?'Alex honestly said, leaning agaisnt the wall casually.

((N/m I just looked you up))

Willow closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Your clothes are not new. That means hand me downs or a lack of money. You dyed your hair yourself. Your waight is brought on by Hogwarts food mostly don't worry so is the waight of most of the students here. The state of you jeans tells me that you live alone because there are few mothers in the world that are negeltful of the clothes of thier children especially Wizarding mothers." She said all in a flat monotone that she used for this kind of thing. She got up off the window still and placed her hand under his chin. Her sharp brown eyes studing his face. "You've suffered a few losses in your lifetime haven't you." She said tilting her head slightly. None of what she said was in the form of a question.

(oh, ok. phew)

Alex listened ot her state facts about him, cpntinouisly right except for his freind had died his hair, not Alex himself. They were all pretty obvious things though that Alex had learnt from th gypsies, you just pointed them out. When Willow mentioned the last face, Alex's eyes became faded out slightly and he stepped back a bit, freaked out slightly. How did she know?he thought to himself, his muscles tensed in his hands. He controlled himself. 'Uh, yeah'he replied, still weary of her. 'So, umm, how'd you do that. stuff?'Alex said, using stuff since he didn't know exactly what it was.

Willow leaned up against the wall. "Everything leaves a mark as I've come to notice. Death is no diffrent. You just have to know what your looking for. If you look hard enough you will see that the eyes of people that have had no one in thier life die look diffrent from the eyes of people that have." She said simply. There was little she couldn't put together. "It's a skill I have mostly. Sherlock Homes in a girl's body. It's nothing big though." She said shrugging her shoulders and looking away. She had freaked Alex enough for the time being though she couldn't help but laugh to herself.

Alex listened before smiling. as she told him she was sherlock holmes in a girls body. 'Yeah, except for Holmes never did that sort of stuff'he said before thinking. 'You should hold onto that skill. You might find Divination will be well more interesting than I found it to be. Actually, I found it quite interesting. Dreams. Should watch out for them you know'Alex said, not really paying attention to if it made sense or not. He was tired.

Willow shugged. "And I don't do heroen in order to figure things out. There are diffrences but the skill is the same." She said shaking her head. "I think that street Seers and foretuntellers are just out for your money. If they really had skill they wouldn't chareging for it." She said a bit stiffly when he mentioned Divination. "Your babbling." She said looking back at Alex with a slight smile on her face.

Alex disagreed. 'no, they are trying to earn a living and if that's their talent of conning people, they should charge for it'Alex rebutted calmly. Before she told him he was babbling. He shrugged, and smiled sheepishly. 'Well, still, at least it was sensible stuff. not like you don't do that ever'He told her, jokingly of course.

Willow rolled her eyes. "The person comes to them for a fortun is hopin for honest answers. Don't you think it's just a bit rude to pretend you have powers that you really don't?" She asked. Willow had a thing about honesty. It meant a lot to her. "I used to babble. Now I don't talk much. Really can't find much to talk about." She said shrugging her shoulders.

Alex shrugged. 'The whole world ain't honest. If you can't be 'em, join 'em'Alex told her. 'I'm used to it, and no, it's not that rude. The person shouldn't beleive the future is mapped out dead certain'He added. He laughed when she said she couldn't find anything to talk about. 'What do you mean nothing to talk about? There's loads of stuff. Why are the stones grey? WHy chairs only have 4 legs?'Alex said before pointing out more random things.

Willow shook her head. "No it's not but it could help in a decition that they are planing to make. In fact I heard once that by the time that a person goes to a fortunteller they have already made the choice. They go to them to understand it." Willow said then laughed right out. She couldn't believe that Alex had just said that. "Stones are not always gray they are the color of the sediment that is picked up and chair have four legs for stablity. Really people should not ask questions they already know the answers to." She said still laughing.

Alex smiled. 'But if 4 legs give it stability, why can't people give it 9? It would look way more interesting'Alex replied. 'And how do you expalin the fact that an apple a day keeps the doctor away?'he added, not really knowing why he said that now.

Willow shrugged. She knew that he was just trying to keep her talking. For some reason Willow didn't mind. "I guess it would look interesting to some but it would ugly to others. That's just the way things are sometimes. It's all a matter of perspective." She said crossing her arms in front of her. "I think that's a myth." She said when Alex brought up the apple.

Alex shrugged. 'Yeah, well. At least it makes some people get their five fruit and veg a day,'Alex pointed out, whether it was a myth or not.
