Rose was sitting down in the Great Hall, idly reading the daily prophet and drinking some tea.It was quite early in the morning. The rush hour for breakfast hadn't begun yet and since it was a Saturday it was bound to be later then usual since most people like to sleep in. Rose couldn't do that though. She woke up at the same time each morning,no matter what day of the week, month, year it was.The sun was shinning in through the long windows of the hall. She could hear the low murmurs of the few students who were sitting down enjoying the almost quietness of the hall. It was quite nice and relaxing. It was so different from other times of the day.Rose enjoyed the peace and quiet, even though it could feel lonely at times just sitting by yourself and just listening,it was still nice to just slow everything down. People in the world usually rushed through life.Always thinking about what will I do next? Always thinking about the future when you should be really thinking about what you are doing now. There were only a very small amount of people who did that in life. Rose was one of those people. She slowed down at times. She wasn't always rushing and constantly going go go go. She took time to relax and think about what was happening now.She enjoyed every day as it came. So what if there was a bad day, they wouldn't last forever. She had been guilty recently of fretting too much about the future and seeing everything as if th glass was half empty. But after the events if Halloween Rose had snapped out of what ever she had been in and was now back to normal.

It was nice being back to her old, happy, cheerful self. Her drawings were much more cheerful and bright as was her piano playing. This were generally better for her though underneath everything there still was that small current of panic that could unleash itself at any given time if someone pushes her buttons enough but she hoped that didn't happen. She would deal with the crisis with her Dad when she came to that bridge. But for now she should enjoy the rest of her term in Hogwarts. It was summer time which was weird because everyone was getting into the Christmas mood. It was a most peculiar sensation. The idea of having sunny, warm weather and Christmas trees and Christmas decorations didn't not register properly in her head but she was getting used to it.She was looking forward to the Yule Ball.Hopefully it would be a fun night though she hoped no one got in trouble like Kyle and Wes. She had forgiven them for their prank though it still stung a bit but they had definitely livened the place up though to their cost. The Yule Ball should be better though. Lucie had sent her the dress, shoes and everything else. She had even instructed Rose how to put everything like make up on. Rose had no interest in any of these sort of things so she needed the help or else she would end up in disaster. Lucie's instructions were kind of hard to understand but Rose had been practicing and she was more of less sure that she had done everything right.

Finishing off her cup of tea she put the newspaper down and left the hall. More people were filling in and Rose didn't want to be there when most of the student body arrived. She first walked up the many stairs to the common room, where she brushed her teeth and got her drawing utensils. She wasn't sure if she was going to draw anything but she would bring her set with her just in case. She had already played on the piano for half an hour this morning before breakfast. It was a nice wake up call doing an hour of piano. It tired her but in a good way.She always felt more energized and ready to face the day after a dose of playing the piano. Now she walked back out of the common room and made her way to the Student Lounge. She was a bit sad to hear no music blaring out loud but she walked into the room and went straight over to the window sill where she sat down and looking out the window.

Bituin did not get out much. She tried her hardest to stay in the Ravenclaw House to keep away from her older sister and being assiociated with the girl's terrible acts. Her sister was a bully and Bituin did not agree with the girl. Everything Josefina did was wrong in Bituin's eyes. But being the younger of the two she could not set her sister in the right way without risking being bullied herself. The young Ravenclaw flet bad for the poor Hufflepuff girl and the Gryffindor boy her sister picked on. However today was a day that she could not stand to be in the Common Room for another moment. Bituin decided to head to a place her sister would hardly ever so her face, the Student Lounge. There were to many people on most occassions for her sister, Bituin knew this.

Walking into the room she quickly glanced around to see if her mirror image was anywhere to be seen. It did not seem so therefore Bituin walked into the Lounge and took a better look at the people around. Smiling, the girl spotted someone she knew by the windows. Heading over to the other girl Bituin clasped her hands behind her back. It was a pleasant day and Bituin was glad to be out of the Common Room for once. "Hello Rose! How are you today?" She asked her friend sitting on the window cill.
