His eyes natural color is emerald. However, his right eye is a pale blue, because he is blind in it due from an injury his father did when he was a child.
Family:
Grezhen lives out on his own, with his two younger brothers. His parents are Alector Varius and Carly Varius. His full blooded brother is Rakas Varius. His other brother is Azerail by adoption.
History:
Grezhen was born in an upperclass society by his mother's wealth. Grezhen was injured by his father when he was a baby because as they were in the forest, Grezhen was dropped, and something went into his eye, got infected, and the hospital could not save his eyesight but they did save his eye. It affected him for the rest of his life, permanently blinding him in his right eye. In 1991, Grezhen ran away from home, and was taken in by a professor at a college that happened to know about magic, because Grezhen got tired of his parents' fighting all the time. In 1996, he was sorted into Slytherin. However, in 1997, a lone, rogue werewolf entered the grounds of Hogsmade, and attacked Grezhen. Grezhen now has scars from the bites on his neck and chest. If it weren't for the professors, Grezhen would have been dead. However, the damage was already done. He was a cursed Werewolf. He soon became a prefect. In 2004, he graduated with high grades. Grezhen fell for a former classmate, and married. Within months later, she was pregnant, but the baby and her died in childbirth.

Newly widowed, he moved to New Zealand to be closer to his brothers. It wasn't long before Rakas came running to him. And Grezhen received custody over Rakas, and soon Azerail. They all live in Grezhen's house, and their parents are in some other country, which the boys don't care and are getting on with their own lives. Though still going through his phases of the moon, his brothers and he have grown accustomed to his transformations and Grezhen sees his curse as a minor obstacle, and actually sees the up sides rather than the down sides. Grezhen ended up moving to New Zealand, and living alone with his brothers for a while, before he fell in love with another woman, a pureblood no doubt, Brunhilde. They had gone to school together, and they had adopted a daughter, Giselle Varius. However the marriage did not last long because Grezhen felt insecure about having a pureblood wife with family members that seemed to hate his kind. They ended up divorcing, and he is now living with Giselle and Rakas, with Azerail moving out and living his own life. Grezhen decided to leave his job as a mechanic and work in the Ministry.
