Sandie made her way out of the castle, her blue converse making gentle thuds off the concrete. She stiffled a yawn and shook her head slightly, as if trying to rid herself of the tiredness she felt. She'd barely slept the night before, she just couldn't seem to get comftorbale, which was a first for her as she'd always been able to fall asleep everywhere and anywhere!
Looking up at the sky she smiled as a bunch of fluffy, white clouds hid the sun. Sandie loved the sunshine, but she was beggining to get fed up off it. She absoloutely loved the rain and bad weather, but living in Kentucky she certainly didn't experience it enough.
There was a gentle breeze in the air, and Sandie enjoyed the feel of it on her legs. Today she had chosen to wear a pair of denim shorts, so short they were practically hot pants. Sandie liked them like that, she hated wearing proper trousers, for some reason she didn't like having her legs completely covered, it made her feel trapped. A plain blue t-shirt matched her converse and a gray cardigan hung loosely off her shoulders. This was a typical Sandie outfit, plain but cute and comftorbale!
The young Slytherin made her way over to the cliffside, a plae she had rarely visited. There was nobudy to be seen there today, but Sandie had long since decided to stop hovering places were friends could be made, as she'd barely made any so far, and eventually friends would find her.
Looking out over the edge of the cliffs, a smile spread accross her face. It was so beautiful, New Zealand. The area surrounding the castle was completely deserted, and Sandie couldn't see anything for miles, apart from the Lake and the small village that was Brightstone. Falling to the grass, she pulled her knees up under he chin, breathing in the suddenly crisp air. It was coming into summer, but a few rain clouds were hovering over the castle, there had been a few rain spells that November, but Sandie knew that as soon as it entered October, they would have nothing but sun for weeks and weeks. It would be summer soon, too soon.

Rubie was outside, she had finished her homework, and had decided to make the most of the spring weather. Spring was one of her favourite seasons, and she always liked to seethe new flowers, and baby animals. She wandered out to the ciffs. She always found the view amazing up there. All that she could see and watch, well it was a good place to come when she needed a break, or needed to think. She pulled her blue cardigan around her as a breeze came across the cliff. She then spotted a girl, who she had seen around school, and in her classes.

"Hey" she called out in greeting, and wandering over to where the girl was.

Sandie heard someone call out to her, and turned her head to see a girl walking towards her. A bright smile spread accross her face. She'd seen this girl around the castle, and in some of her classes, yet she couldn't for the life of her remember her name! "Hey" Sandie returned the girls greeting. "Sorry, but I can't remember your name" she apologised, "I'm Sandie, by the way, Sandie Treasure" she added with a grin.

Rubie smiled "It's okay, I've kinda forgot yours too" she replied with a smile. All the names she had to remember at Hogwarts could sometimes be a bit of a muddle.

"Rubie Silverfox" she replied to Sandie, "Hows it going?" she asked, leaning against a large rock on the cliff.

Sandie smiled at Rubie. "Good. It's going good, I guess" she laughed slightly. "How's it going for you, are you liking Hogwarts so far?" She asked, tucking a stray strand of blond hair behind her ear as her gray eyes scanned the view ahead of the cliffs once more.
