Getting into trouble.

"yawn!" it had been a long night for Caleb, he had been up untill 1am reading which is something he hardly ever did! And even though he had managed to sleep untill 11am, he was still claming to be tried. He was wearing his black skinny jeans and red hoodie, with a pair of muddy converses. It was cold and the wind was blowing hard at his side. He span his keys round his finger as he walked, but as a strong wind came them flipped off and across the path. leaning over to pick them up he saw a pair of feet come so close they almost stepped on him! "Hey! Watch it!"
 
Joe was on one of his walks. He liked going for walks, it helped to relax him, and it woke him up, prepared him for the long day ahead. He looked up at the sky, to see the cloud's turning a nasty shade of grey. As the cold wind blew, he quickened his pace, in attempt to get indoors before a storm started. His walk was just about to turn into a jog, when he heard a voice shout "Watch It."

Joe jumped back as he released that the voice was pretty much directly below him. "Ah, sorry, did I step on something?" Joe smiled at the boy, that he had just so almost tripped over.
 
"Hey I'm sorry dude," Grabbing his keys off of the floor and stood up straight. "Hey I haven't seen you around here before, you live near by?" He asked, crossing his arms.
 
Joe laughed, he lived less than a 5 minutes walk away, but had never seen this guy before in his life.

"Umm, I live like...there." Joe said, whilst pointing towards his house that was in the distance..."What about you? I havent seen your face around either?"
 
"Oh, I live about 2 mins in the other direction. I'm Caleb by the way." First pointing his thum over his sholder then reaching his arm out to shake the boy hand. "and you are...?"
 
Joe smiled and accepted the hand shake.

"Urm, I'm Joe, nice to meet you Caleb." Joe giggled a little. "So you must live quite near me then?"
 
"Well... yeah." Having just pointed this out, Caleb thought it was a little bit of a random thing to say, but trying to make convosation... but failing!
 
Joe was beginning to feel a bit awkward, but put on a brave face, and kept that lovely, and beaming smile of his, that everyone knew and loved.

"Sooo..." Joe said, whilst crossing his arms as he began to feel the cold.
 
Lewis had been on his way to meet Lilly, when he spotted Caleb Mointkin in his path "Oi! Mintkin! I thought we had an understanding, you don't come here anymore! do you, rat! And you, who are you to stand in my way?" Anyone socialising with simeone Lewis disliked, was also on the list for who he really didn't like!"
 
"Oh crap, not him!" Caleb muttered under his voice so that only Joe could hear. "This guys bad news!" still muttering. Then he called, "What the hell are you after, Quent? Who says you have the right to tell anyone what to do, let alone some guy you don't even know!" (refering to Joe), he stepped forward so as he stood between Lewis and Joe.
 
Joe wasn't sure who this guy was...but he didn't like his first impressions of him. "Uh, sorry mate...I never realised that I was, 'stood in your way...' I take it you know Caleb?"

Joe's habit of blurting things out without thinking about it didn't always work to his advantage, and this time it definatly hadn't.
What was I thinking? Joe thought. This guy looks tough, and is most certainly stronger than me.
 
"Mate? I'm not your mate! And you are surtainly are NOT mine! And yes, if you must know, I do know Mintkin, although I'd rather not! Just like I'd rather not have met you!" Lewis took an instant disliking to this boy, he was ugly, he smelt, and Lewis was sure that he was gay!
 
Joe looked at the guy again. "Ummm...right..." He was making sure that nothing else was blurted out of his mouth that shouldn't be. "So we're just...gonna...go now...arn't we...Caleb?" Joe said as he began to turn around to face Caleb.
 
Caleb would do almost anything to get away from this guy, "Yeah, umm, sure." He suddenly had an over-the-top irrational fear of Lewis and didn't want to be left alone with him. He started heading in the direction that Joe had been heading in, in the first place. Then under his voice, so that only Joe could hear, he muttered, "Could I stick with you for just a min please?" Caleb felt pathetic having to ask this, but Lewis was dangerous on a good day! And it didn't look like he was in the best of moods either!
 
Joe smiled a little as Caleb asked if he could hang with him for a bit. "Of course you can, I take it he doesn't like you right?" Joe whispered. "Is he always like that." He began to speak a bit louder, as they reached a reasonably safe distance away from him.
 
Lewis couldn't be bothered with Caleb, not today, he had better things to think about. He walked on past the two other boys and scould them as he went. he over heard one of them say 'is he always like that' and he stopped dead in his tracks, "you really shouldn't push me that far. You really shouldn't!" He clenched his fists and refrained himself from being overly abusive toward them, he simply clunched his fists and walked off in a huff.
 
Caleb was relived to see Lewis walk away, he really was not in the mood to deal with him today. "I think 'don't like' is an understatment!" Caleb laughed, then scouled at Lewis unintentionally as he walked away, "hes like that to pretty much everyone, exept his girlfriend of course." He wiped the scoul off of his face and started to smile again, "I'm real sorry I dragged you into that Joe, that guy really is an idiot! So when was it you said that you were going to?"
 
Joe was happier now that Lewis had walked away. But stopped in his tracks and laughed as Caleb mentioned Lewis' girlfriend. "He, has a girlfriend...you what?" Joe giggled to himself, as he waited for Caleb's reply.

"Dont worry about that, I'm over it." He Joked. "But I wasn't meaning to go anywhere...just wandering really." Joe said, forgetting about what he had planned to do.
 
"Yup, hes really quite popular for some strange reason. Hes going out with Lilly Lock, you heard of her? she lives near here too." Caleb knew that it must seem strange that someone who had just been so rude, could be like, or even loved by anyone. But that was just the way it was.
Oh right, Well I was going somewhere, but I'm not really in the mood any more." Caleb thought for a minuet about going to visit Cameron and Dean, but then he realised that as they lived with Lilly, Lewis was probably on his way there, and didn't want to get involved with him again for at least a couple of days. "Hey, you wanna come round my place for a bit? If you got nothin' elce you wanna do that is." Caleb had a way of being abrupt, and not at all modest, but in a kind of good way.
