Ai had never really thought that she'd be back here so soon, but it was already something that she had been postponing for a while out of nervousness. It had already been almost a year and a half since she had experienced great fear of losing her child because he was going to be born prematurely. She had probably nearly lost her life as well, but she couldn't care any less at the time, for all she wanted was to save the life of her own baby. She didn't even care if he would grow up differently cause she would shower him with love nonetheless, but thankfully, Jai's growth and health had been nothing but spectacular over the past year and Ai couldn't have been anymore grateful. However, this visit of hers to St. Mungo's was a little less about her son, but more about her, for once again, with her own stupidity, she had gotten herself pregnant. Again.

It had been around September since she had found out that she was pregnant again and now it was already January. She had been going to a muggle doctor since she had discovered her second pregnancy, however, as her due date went nearer and nearer, certain fears had begun to bubble up within the teenage mom. She had already gone through one premature birth and she sure as hell wasn't ready for another one, so she had been wanting to ask for advice, however, her muggle doctor knew nothing of her previous circumstances nor fully of her current one, so she had decided that it was time to visit her healer during her previous pregnancy. Although it didn't change the fact that this actually made her nervous. After all, she was on her second child and it wasn't like she was married. Merlin, the kids even have different fathers! How bad will she look? She had been trying to steel her nerves ever since they got here and while Jai's presence and excitement was helping, Gracie's presence wasn't exactly helping the calm wash over the teenager. After all, the woman's reaction to both pregnancies had been nothing less than subtle. With a sigh, Ai tried to figure out the time to stall, but when she had found out that it was two minutes before her scheduled appointment, she had bit her lip and decided that she better suck it up and stop standing around. So, with a soft "Excuse me," she tried to get the attention of her healer.

<SIZE size="50">Grace had not been in New Zealand for some time, and she found herself slightly disorientated by the visit she had decided to pay her young charge - especially when she found out that Ai was pregnant for a second time. Not with her brother this time, however. The brunette was not sure how she felt about that. She was happy that Jeremiah seemed to have tied himself to his new girlfriend - they already had two daughters - but she did not want to have to go through this with Ai again. The man had run off, and here they were, Ai pregnant and alone, and Grace and Shiloh taking care of her. She had calmed down now - but she feared that she had upset Ai when she first found out that she was expecting a second child. With Jai babbling away in broken English, Italian, and Japanese on her hip, she followed Ai into St Mungos, and cooed right back at Jai in Italian, even though she was sure that neither of them had any idea what each other was saying. He looked happy enough, however. "You're going to be a Chiacchiere, aren't you?" she whispered, touching his nose with her own.

She knew that Ai would be feeling embarrassed about returning so soon, and so had brought some cakes to have together should there be a wait. She stood beside the younger girl, with Jai tugging gently at her sleeve and her arm placed supportively on Ai's back. "It'll be fine," she whispered to her, before pulling a silly face at Jai, who roared with laughter as a result.

William Kent enjoyed his job. Helping woman with their pregnancies and such was something he had always found to bring him great joy. His mother had been a muggle gynaecologist. His parents hadn't been married for some time, but he loved them both greatly and had jumped right into this line of work the minute he was able. Healing was not exactly something that ran in his family, but he enjoyed it none-the-less. His brother was also a healer though, he worked in England so William didn't get to see him all that often. He really had to make some time to go and see him. He did miss his brother. He was about to go and find one of the interns to ask for a coffee when he heard a soft voice. He turned around to see what the problem was, when his eyes landed on the young asian teen from not so long ago. William always remembered all of his patients. It was a curse that many healers likely had to live with. They remembered every right and wrong thing that they ever did with their patients. This particular patient had been very scared and very alone with her first pregnancy. There had been a couple of complications, but not too many, thankfully. To be quite honest, he was rather shocked to see her back here so soon.

William looked at this charts. The name Edogawa, Ai stood out to him. So she was not married. It was a shame really. William was a little old fashioned. Not necessarily with regards to her being unmarried, but she was still very young. Had she hit the twenty year mark yet? He didn't think she had. Trying to conceal his thoughts from his face, William smiled slightly at her and walked out from behind the desk. "Miss Edogawa, you're back again are you? And I see you brought someone along this time?" He asked, looking at the older woman slightly behind the asian girl. He noted the child then and grinned. "This must the little one?" He couldn't remember the child's name, or if he had even been told but he ruffled the kids hair all the same before gesturing to the room down the hall. "I'll ask you to come this way please, we have a room for you down the end here."

Ai had managed a small smile at the greeting her healer had given her. "Hello, Doc. How have you been?" she greeted back, a gentle tone present in her currently meek voice. She doubted that it was really a good thing that she was back here so soon, and her doctor probably shared the sentiments. If he was though, he was being pretty good at hiding it. After all, it had already been normal for her to get those judging looks as she walked the streets, her pregnancy evident with her figure. Well, that didn't make going through it any easier though. With a sigh, the former Hufflepuff dismissed those thoughts from her mind, knowing full well that there was no use lingering on those thoughts. "Ah yes. This is Jai," she gestured to her little one that was in Gracie's arms. "And this is Gracie. Jai's aunt," she said simply before her brows furrowed in thought knowing that the older woman preferred to be the young one's grandma. "I mean, grandma. She's my adoptive mother? Or sister?" she began to slowly mumble as she dived into confusion. "Can we stick with guardian in the meantime?" she said with a sigh as she felt a small headache beginning to form.

The young woman followed the healer in relative silence with a small smile as he gestured towards the room they were going to use. "Do they uh... do they need to come with?" she asked softly, a little uncomfortable with Gracie's presence. While it was true that Ai had always been nervous with her check-ups, she had gotten used to going on them alone. She felt more secure that way. However, the presence of the older woman was making her jumpier and more nervous than usual but she really didn't want to be rude as the woman had taken the time to come with her, even watching over little Jai. But she really did hope that she'd at least have the privacy to talk about some matters with her healer alone.
