Adriana was bored. The cold air of June was now settling in and it seemed to get harder and harder to actually go outside and just sit as she so often did. Today was warmer than most, but not warm by many's standards. The Slytherin was sitting on a rock, journal and quill in hand. She just scribbled down her thoughts, about her new friends, anything that crossed her mind. Lately, her thoughts had been preoccupied by a boy she had just met, but she wasn't supposed to have any care for him. The fact that he was a muggle-born and she felt that way confused the poor girl beyond the ability to think correctly. Her father told her that pure blood was a good trait, not necessary, but a good trait. At least Ryan was a Slytherin, and not some weakling like a Hufflepuff.

Her brain rattled and it was clear that the stress of the end of the year was starting to get to her. Now her days consisted of studying non-stop, and maybe taking a break halfway through to relax at the lake. She was doing just that now. With a sigh, she ran her fingers through her hair and smiled slightly to herself, enjoying the solace of being alone and at the same time wanting someone that she deemed worth her company. Yet with Adriana's standards, barely anyone in this school met the bar when it came to that wish, and she was always getting into fights with the wrong type of people. By this, she meant Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors that just didn't seem to know their place in the school, and for their own good should have.

Amber walked around the lakefront without a care in the world, she smiled at everybody that walked past her, yes, the Hufflepuff was having a good day, she was always having a good day, she had no reason not to. Amber twirled a lock of her delicate brown hair as she strolled around, it was a beautiful day, there was no doubt about it, the sin was shining and the birds were singing, Amber knew it was a great day to be outside in the abundance of nature. Amber hadn't made many friends in the time she had been at Wizarding School, she had kept a positive attitude about it but with her parents it was a different story, they wanted her to have a lot of friends, they wanted her to be popular, that was only when they were home though, her mother and father were never around, what did they care if she didn't have any friends?

At this thought, Amber stopped walking, she had seen a girl who was in Slytherin sitting on a rock, writing in a journal. Tilting her head to the side in a casual fashion, Amber smiled and approached the girl, smiling intently. "Hi, my name's Amber. What's yours?" She said, continuing to smile and tilt her head to the side as one did when they were curious. The other girl might not want to talk to her but she just stood there, smiling at the other girl and waiting for an answer to her question. It wasn't the most complicated of questions but it was a question none the less and Amber wanted to talk to the girl, she wanted to know what the girl was writing about, even if that might be considered rude.
