Charlie spun the wristbands on his arm as he walked down the path of Brightstone village. He had decided to stay at Hogwarts over Christmas, the desire to see his family wasn't overly large and he concluded that they wouldn't be dying to see him anyway. Although being bundled up in the castle wasn't great for ones health and after a few days, Charlie concluded that he needed some new scenery and thus he made the trip to Brightstone. He watched a couple of people as they walked past him, occasionally brushing arms with others on the busy street and he was suddenly aware of the fact that he had become so much more comfortable around other people. He even had a few people that he could classify as real friends. He had sworn he would distance himself from others after the whole incident with Carmen, but he had actually let others inside again. They were Slytherin's too, and females. Two things he was dead set against going near again. Charlie had stopped looking where he was going as he found himself thinking that perhaps it wasn't such a bad thing, but he also couldn't ignore that tiny feeling in the back of his mind that it would end in disaster. However, for once, maybe he would just have to see how it went. It couldn't kill him, right?

Kalina walked slowly, her fingers brushing along her the soft material of her dress as her arms swung at the pace in which she walked. With her eyes everywhere but ahead, she looked like a tourist who was too familiar with their foreign land, for she soaked up every inch of Brightstone village with her eyes and soul. Oh how she had missed this place when she had been back in France. Kali adored Beauxbatons and France, the culture and the people were just beautiful, even the muggles, but there was something about New Zealand that just felt like home. Perhaps it was that her families' homestead was here, or perhaps it was just because the aura that New Zealand had just fit with Kali's like a perfect puzzle. What it was, didn't matter, but Kalina knew that she had missed Brightstone and the people that it brought, instead of the stuck up veelas that often strutted around the castle, bewitching the little amount of male students that the school had.

Today, was not the day to bewitch or do be jealous of this affliction that these creatures had, however. Today was just the day to enjoy herself in the summer sun. This is what the bubbly blonde was doing until she bumped into someone and gasped out of shock.
