FULL NAME
Fraser Corby Fergusson

MEANING
Fraser - Fraser is: Strawberry flowers. Of the forest men. A major Scottish clan. From a Scottish surname based on a French place name.
Corby - habitational name from any of various places in northern England. Those in Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire are named with the Old Norse personal name Kori (see Cory) + Old Norse býr 'farm', 'settlement', whereas the one in Cumbria has as its first element the Old Irish personal name Corc
Fergusson - Is a patronymic surname meaning "son of Fergus." The given name Fergus, comes from Fearghas, derived from the Gaelic fear meaning "man," and gus meaning "vigor".

WHY
Fraser is unsure what or why he is named for, his mother was the one who named him and she isn’t at all in his life anymore. She was the one who named him, but he knows from his father that Fraser was a name they had discussed for children. He knows it’s a fairly traditional Scottish name, and it’s a name which he likes. Fraser knows that his father would’ve probably called him Fraser and he likes being called Fraser so he doesn’t mind that he doesn’t quite know why his mother went for it in the end. His middle name is his mother’s maiden name and is a nice name, he doesn’t think often of his mother but this middle name is all he carries of it. He likes it. He doesn’t remember her and he’s certainly moved on from it, and he happily has this middle name. His surname is his father’s family name. He knows his dad has issues with his family but Fraser does love being a Fergusson. It will open doors for him and his love for quidditch that’s exactly what he wants.

NICKNAMES
Fraser is not a name that you can shorten really, you could call him Frase or something, but that’s almost as long as his actual name, so it doesn’t matter. He doesn’t mind not having a nickname, it suits him to just have his regular name and have pet names from his dad or from his step-mum or Zerrin. He’s never minded a nickname and doesn't mind if people call him different things.

AGE
Fraser is eleven years old.

D.O.B.
Fraser was born on the 10th of October 2046. He was born in New Zealand in a home birth. The details of it are unknown to him and his father because his father was not present at his birth. The bir itself though was pretty easy, he was born a little early but was of a good size.

PROFESSION
Fraser is a student and too young to have a profession, but he wants to be a quidditch player.

FATHER
Graeme Fergusson. Professional quidditch player, former Hufflepuff. Half blood. His father is everything in his life. Graeme was born and raised on Skye in Scotland. His parents had split up when he was young, but he was aware of the magic. Graeme was sent to Hogwarts New Zealand for his schooling with his grandparents. Here he did relatively okay, focusing on quidditch and eventually became quidditch captain. After he brought them to victory, Graeme left school in his sixth year, returning home to Scotland and then joined the Pride of Portree quidditch team and the Scottish National team. He and Fraser’s mother had been on and off in school, reconnecting some time after school. They married and when they had been married for a few years when Maya fell pregnant. She left Graeme and Fraser was returned to Graeme after something happened with his mother and he’s been with him ever since.

MOTHER
Maya Corby. Former Hufflepuff. She was a english girl who also went to Hogwarts New Zraland. Fraser doesn’t know a lot about her and doesn’t remember what exactly happened to her. He just remembers being brought to his father. He misses her in a way, but also doesn’t remember her at all.

STEP-MOTHER
Abigail Cromwell - though not officially his step mother, she is with his father and he loves her dearly. In his mind Fraser does absolutely see her as his mother. She’s a sweet women who loves talking to him and makes him feel super special. He likes the way she kisses his forehead and loves how happy she makes his father. He loves having her in his life and he hopes that one day she’ll be officially his mother because he would rather her than his biological mother because she’s here and likes him.

SIBLING(S)
Zerrin Cromwell - Zerrin is a couple of years old than Fraser but in his mind he is his best friend. He loves spending time with him.
Floraidh Fergusson - Flora is Fraser’s little sister. She was born in 2057 and Fraser loves her dearly. It is a little frustrating to him that he can’t immediately teach her quidditch but he will the moment she can get on to a mini-broom.
Holly Fergusson

OTHER
Fraser has by the fact he’s a Fergusson a very large family, he has his grandmother on his his father’s side, and his grandfather and step-grandmother also on his father’s side. He then has two uncles and one aunt. He has a aunt-in-law and several second cousins. He loves his family, there is always someone for him to spend time with. They’re always willing to spend time with him and he’s never got a dull moment.

RELATIONSHIP TO FAMILY
Fraser has a good relationship with his family. He remembers little elements of his biological mother, but because his father supports him well, and he now has a step mother and a brother, and another sister he is very very happy. He is very close with his father, whom he was also inseparable for a large chunk of his life. They had always travelled together for games and Fraser was rarely away from him more than a couple of days. He has a good relationship with his step-mother, who welcomed him with open arms and has been a really positive influence on his life. He loves her so much and even though he loves his father as much, Fraser always tries to make his mother smile and brighten her day. He feels like the sentiment is returned but worries sometimes that he loves her more than she loves him. Fraser then has a good relationship with both of his siblings, he is a warm child and gets along easily, he looks up to Zerrin, thinks he’s just about the coolest person ever and his little sister for now is a little lame but only because she’s a baby.

Further to that, Fraser has a good relationship with his wider family, to his grandmother on his father’s side to his whole extended aunts, uncles and cousins on his father’s side. He is doted on by his aunts and uncles, always provided with whatever he needs at a moment’s notice. He does realise that not all is well within that family and that they don’t alway treat his Uncle Rory well, but he does love them.

PET(S)
Fraser has no pets of his own, though they have a family owl.

BLOOD STATUS
Mixed blood, his father is a half blood and his biological mother was mixed blood too.

THOUGHTS ON BLOOD STATUS
With the extended Fergusson family being primarily purebloods, Fraser has noted the way that pureblood people can act. He knows that it can ruin relationships and families. He is content with his blood, he knows he’d probably gain a little more respect from his Fergusson family if he was pureblood but he is also so satisfied with his life and his family. He likes being mixed blood and knows that no one is better than anyone else.

HOMETOWN
Fraser has been largely raised on the Isle of Skye off the coast of Scotland. He doesn’t live in a town, the house is on its own, apart from everything else, but it is the only house he has never known/remembered.

CURRENT RESIDENCE
Currently Fraser lives in a cottage on the Isle of Skye. Since coming to his father he has never lived anywhere other than there.

THE PLACE TO LIVE
With his dad playing quidditch, Fraser has been rather blessed to have visited a whole host of countries. He likes travelling a lot, he thinks it’s cool to go to places that are not like his own place. He likes speaking with people even if there’s a serious language barrier. Fraser is just very content to speak and interact with people, so he isn’t sure if he could ever say that there was one place he would want to live, so long as he could keep visiting places he’d be content no matter where.

PREVIOUS HOMES
Because Fraser doesn’t remember any other home he doesn’t consider himself to have any other home than the one he’s got.

SEXUAL ORIENTATION
Fraser is a little young to know what his orientation is definitively.

CURRENT RELATIONSHIP STATUS
Single - as a ten year old, Fraser has no interest in being in a relationship.

HAIR STYLE
Fraser has short enough golden brown hair. He keeps it well maintained but that also isn’t the most difficult thing for him to do when it is as short as it is. He keeps it parted to one side, and keeps some sides shorter than others. Fraser isn’t too bothered about his appearance but he does like to make sure that his hair isn’t too messy - it get very messy because of quidditch and the fact he’ll be flying or always wearing a helmet to play.

HAIR HAS BEEN DYED
Never, and likely to never dye it. Fraser doesn't want to change his hair, he likes it how it is.

EYE COLOUR
Fraser has brown eyes, he takes after his mother in this regard, but he likes his eyes. He doesn’t mind that they aren’t like his father’s or like a lot of his family. In his mind they look nice and its not like he could change them, so no sense in losing sleep over it.

BIRTHMARKS/FRECKLES/SCARS
Fraser has lots of freckles, they adorn his face, his arms, his legs. He will absolutely become more freckled in the summer and doesn’t tan, at all. He has a few small scars from falling from his broom but they are not at all noticeable.

BODY TYPE
Fraser takes after his dad a lot in body type. Fraser plays a lot of sports, and is very involved in quidditch, thus he has a forming athletic build. He is of average height and weight for his age, but is showing signs that he’ll likely both bulk out and grow to be quite tall.

BLOOD TYPE
O (+ve)
Fraser has O positive blood, it was important for him to know this and for his dad to know this because they were travelling a lot and it might end up in muggle areas. But it’s never been necessary to know. Fraser has it written down in his wallet since he does often forget, though the less time he spends in the muggle world the less he will ever need it.

WHICH HAND?
Right handed.
Fraser writes with his right hand. His handwriting is plain awful, nothing is ever the same size, he’s always making mistakes and he doesn't care enough to focus on it or improve it. Fraser doesn’t care too much about being good at writing, he doesn’t in his mind need to be, he just needs to focus on his quidditch so it is unlikely that his hand writing will ever get better.

VOICE
As Fraser is born and raised in Scotland, around Scottish people, he has a broad Scottish accent. It is considered a polite Scots accent, with fewer inflections that his aunts and uncles, but it is unmistakable.

LANGUAGES
Fraser speaks English and Scot Gaelic fluently, both written, verbal and listening. He learned english when he was born and picked up Gaelic when he was taken to Scotland to live with his father.

ALLERGIES
Fraser has no known allergies.

PERSONAL STYLE
Fraser’s style is sporty, he doens’t really care about wearing things which are in style, and has never cared much for new clothes or fashionable clothes. His parents buy most of his clothes, and his extended family always provide him with the best quality clothes, though given that Fraser primarily wants to play quidditch with every given day, so for him the easier the clothes are to fly in, or change out into flying gear the better.

------------------------------------------------------------
I'll be with you to the day that I die ,
There's nothing you can do to change my mind,
------------------------------------------------------------
CHARACTER LIKES
Above everything else, Fraser is obsessed with quidditch. He spent a lot of his early life, in amongst quidditch players, on the pitch, he’s been flying for as long as he can remember. He loved quidditch, he loves flying, he loves being able to play, practice and talk about quidditch. He knows far more about the ins and outs of quidditch than anything else. It is everything about him in his mind. Aside from that he likes being outdoors, loves running around, is always looking for things to keep him active. He has an interest in music, but only listening, he likes colouring, though he doesn’t do it that often and he’s pretty happy to go for very long walks and hikes. He likes adventures and coming up with stories, but it’s always the quidditch player who wins the day.

CHARACTER DISLIKES
Fraser isn’t great at school and school work, so he dislikes that, he dislikes homework. He dislikes having to do too much work for anything that isn’t quidditch or quidditch related. He’s not interested in most things that are school related. He doesn’t like being forced to stay indoors, he doesn’t like when it rains for too many days on end, he doesn’t like when quidditch gets cancelled. He doesn’t like people who are rude, he’ll be the first to jump in and fight someone if he has too.

GOALS
Fraser wants to be a quidditch player just like his dad. It is and has been his life dream since he was old enough to verbalise it. He just wants to play quidditch, there is nothing else he wants to do.

BOGGART
Fraser would likely see himself injured and unable to play quidditch. He’d think that his family would turn up in some distress, but in reality he does care so much about quidditch and about doing well in quidditch that this would be what appears. He has faith that his family would be there that he would manage but to lose the ability to play the sport he loves that is terrifying to him, would fill him with unending fear.

PATRONUS
A Snidget

PATRONUS MEMORY
Though he has a lot of very very fond memories of flying and it is his favourite thing to do it wouldn’t be his patronus memory. Instead when Zerrin and Abby moved in with them in Scotland that was it. He loves them both deeply and just the memories of them moving in of being able to speak to Zerrin whenever of having Abby there, he loved them and it fills him with an absolute unending joy.

DEMENTOR
Fraser doesn’t remember much of his life before he came to live with his dad, but he has vague feelings and smokey memories associated with it. But he remembers feeling sad and confused and worried. He remembers wondering where his mother was, of crying and having no one there. He doesn’t really remember what happened or why he came to live with his dad and the memories associated with that earlier period stick with him.

VERITISERUM
Fraser would admit that he worries about never living up to his father’s success. He wants to be a successful quidditch player and just worries that he won’t be that he’ll fail, that he won’t be good enough at it and that he’ll be a disappointment. He would admit that he’s worried about that.

MIRROR OF ERISED
Fraser would see himself as the quidditch captain of whatever team, holding a quidditch cup declaring his team as the champions of the world. It’s all he would desire. Perhaps his family would be around him but he would seek primarily that glory associated with quidditch victories and a big quidditch victory.

AMORENTIA
The outdoors, easily Fraser would smell the outdoors, probably it wuld be reminiscent of the air at his house, of the air he grew up around. It’s a familiar and welcome air and he would absolutely smell it. It would be a light and airy smell.

I LOOK UP TO
This alternates between his father, his step-mother and his older brother. He just loves all of them and thinks they are all so cool and so interesting that he would immediately look up to one and then the other and then the other. He’s a very excitable person so would very easily move between these people looking up to all of them in equal measure.

RELIGIOUS BELIEFS
None - Fraser has never held any religious beliefs. He’s never interacted with traditional muggle beliefs.

ZODIAC SIGN
Libra

ZODIAC DESCRIPTION
Every adolescent Libran's fantasy is to find the Prince or Princess of their dreams. As their lives unfold, the experiences, false starts, dramas, broken hearts and disillusionment they encounter seeking this personal Holy Grail, often shapes their futures in the most extra-ordinary manner. Love and love-lost makes a big difference to the Libran although their often happy-go-lucky appearance against all kinds of odds may not reveal this as fact.Librans can switch off from the world around then and during these periods much more occurs on the deep innermost levels of the Libran's psyche, than their closest companions imagine. Many Librans after establishing a lifestyle that somehow falls short of their childhood dreams, manage to conjure up a most independent life and keep up an image of being dedicated to a "close relationship". They can escape into obscure role playing - and often this makes them extremely successful business people. When it comes to romance and love, Librans can be difficult to fathom yet in business many Librans discover they can not only be creative, but it provides an opportunity to express the more diverse sides to their personalities. Their charm can win jobs and provides powerful friends. But in both work and play, looking for peace and harmony, Librans often say "yes" when they should be saying "no".

BASIC PERSONALITY
Fraser is a quidditch fanatic and excitable person. He is constantly on the move, constantly outside and isn’t very good at sitting still for any length of time. He is a kind hearted person, he’ll do things for others with little question and is the sort of person who will always lend a hand. He sometimes will get involved in situations that do not concern him which can go badly. He’s not the type to get frustrated mostly because he’s more likely to just be a little lost about what is going on. Fraser is very focused on quidditch, it’s where he’ll be more cut-throat, where he will work harder and try to be the best that he can to ensure he succeeds. He just always wants to play. He is not a good student, he’ll rarely be able to pay attention for long and absolutely will likely fail a lot of his school classes.

WAND
Knotted 10 1/2 Inch Flexible Vine Wand with Fairy Wing Core

WAND DESCRIPTION
Length: A fairly average length for a wand, not at all uncommon or very special.
Style: The knots of this wand's original wood remain clearly visible - earthy, this style of wand is perhaps most traditional and closest to nature.
Wood: Strongly tied to the witch and wizard they choose, vine wands are often held by witches and wizard who dream of something bigger beyond the mundane for their lives.
Core: Wands with this core are good for charms spell-casting. Be warned that they do sometimes lead to failed hexes.
Flexibility: Flexible: Not easily broken, this wand performs under strenuous circumstances with little effort - though how well it performs is ultimately up to its weilder.

THOUGHTS ABOUT WAND
Fraser was very excited about his wand. it wouldn't be quite as important as his broom, but he felt pretty eager for his wand. He didnt't need anyting fancy, knowing that he would only ever use basic magic with it. He liked the look and feel of his wand, he likes the core being a fairy wing and likes being able to to have a vine wood wand. It is a good wand for him and he does like it.

SCHOOL
Hogwarts New Zealand

FIRST THOUGHTS
Have heard so much about the school from his dad, from his brother, from all of his family members, he almost couldn't believe it when he actually got to see it for the first time. Though it had always been very real to him from the stories he had been told, this was something else. He felt in awe while looking at it, sure that the only thing would far away quickly. But it didn't. He had finally made it to the school and boy was he excited.

HOUSE
Gryffindor

THOUGHTS WHILE BEING SORTED
Really, Fraser knew he wouldn't mind where he ended up, so he was actually mostly thinking about quidditch and about joining the team and about how much fun he was going to have during that time. He was just really eager to get to it.

SORTING POST

Fraser had been looking forward to this day for years. For years. He had always known that he would go to magical school, and he would go where his dad had been, where his brother was. Where his aunt and uncles had both gone. Hogwarts Scotland was no longer the legacy school they went to. Fraser knew that it would be good fun, that he would have a good time at it, and that he would be able to just enjoy everything about it. There was no way he’d have a bad day ever in school. Fraser knew exactly what he wanted, knew that he wanted to be on a quidditch team and become as good a player as his dad, if not better than him. He wanted to be a good and respected player. He wanted to help win a quidditch cup. Everything else was secondary. He knew his dad wanted him to maybe focus a little on his studies, or not be too obsessed or let down if quidditch didn’t work out immediately, but he knew it would. He believed that it would. Fraser had talent, knew the sport inside out, and he was a legacy.

Fraser had gotten to know a few of his classmates. He waved excitedly at Hugo, whom he’d met at the ice cream parlour, as well as Georgia and Conan, who he’d met on the train. They were all so fun, and he was eager to see where everyone ended up. The boy glanced towards the Hufflepuff table and spotted Zerrin. ”Hey Zerrin!” he shouted to the boy, excitedly jumping up and down and waving. He shoved himself to the front of the crowd of students as they stopped. His surname began with an F, he would be one of the first sorted. Not THE first, but one of them. Fraser cheered for the sorting hat, thoroughly pleased with the song sung by him. It was neat, and he was excited as the first names got called. His family had been a mixture of Slytherins and Hufflepuffs, but Fraser didn’t really mind where he might end up. So long as he could play quidditch for them. He knew as a first year he might not be able to, but he was absolutely going to still try.

Eventually the headmaster called his name and he excitedly bounded forward. He sat on the stool, glancing excitedly out at the students, not quite spotting Zerrin in the crowd before the hat was put on his head. And he was already thinking about how amazing it was going to be to play quidditch the moment he could.

SORTING HAT SAID
"Quidditch on the brain, eh? It's a big sport around here, or so I've heard anyway. Enough small talk, let's get down to business, shall we? It's easy to see you'll do well in...Gryffindor!"

CURRENT YEAR
Third YEAR

PREVIOUS YEARS
(Y43) First Year: Fraser was very excited to get to school. He had hoped he would in the same house as his brother but unfotunately was soted into a different one, but he has loved his first year as a Gryffindor. He tried out for the quidditch team but unfortunately didn't make it. but he's still hopeful for the next year. Fraser didn't do very well in his classes but he also for a large part didn't actually try to do well. but he made some friends and had a good year. He's very eager for more.
(Y44) Second Year: Fraser did not make the Gryffindor house team, which was very disappointing for him. He had really been hoping to make it on to the team, but of course, he'd just stumbled and failed. Other than that, he had a good year, though he had really wanted it. He did plenty of other things during the year, still not doing great in his classes, but not mind, it was a good year.
(Y45) Third Year: Fraser was eager to try-out again for the team, hoping that his chances of making it would be higher, but he did not manage it again, the blow of not managing it stung harsher this time than the previous ones. So he decided to really try for other things and joined the Accio team, he began trying a little harder in his classes, so that just perhaps he wasn't failing quite as badly as he felt like he was. Fraser made it through the year and enjoys the accio team and photography but knows he'll try out again in the next.
